What training methods do you use?
I use LIMA style dog training, also known as Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive, it’s a training approach that focuses on using the least amount of force, punishment, or coercion necessary to teach a dog a desired behavior. It is based on the principles of positive reinforcement and operant conditioning.

He never listened and was difficult to handle at times . An acquaintance recommended Niketa at K954 dog training.
She came to our residence to evaluate Troy . We were immediately impressed with her knowledge of our rare breed and her passion for dog training. We agreed on a standard 30 day board and train program during which Niketa regularly FaceTimed us to update and illustrate her progress. At the end she gave us basic instructions to follow and we are very pleased with the results she did a wonderful job and I highly recommend Niketa

My sweet sweet boy, Chef was struggling with reactivity towards other dogs on walks and constant non stop pulling. After explaining to Niketa that he was on a prong collar, as recommended by our last trainer, she then explained it was never conditioned properly and there were better options for Chef. Niketa taught me how to train him positively with treats and toys and got him totally off of the prong collar. We then worked through his reactivity and eventually moved on to working off leash! I’m so beyond happy with the results and I feel closer to Chef. Thank you K954❤️

She makes sure that you understand the dog's psychology in training both you and your pup. So it all makes sense. Niketa is not only an amazing trainer but she's also a gentle soul. I am working now with Niketa since over 3 month when I first got my Puppy Mylo. She helped me alot with training him. We started with puppy pre school and now moved on to the service dog training. She also gave me some great advise with my older dog & we did some sessions with her seperately from the puppy training. Mylo, Willow and I are very happy customers.

Niketa was a joy to work with. From our first visit, I could tell that she understands dogs and knew how to work with ours in a positive way. We have seen how much better Zoey is at listening, greeting other dogs and walking calmly on leash. After passing the Canine Good Citizen test, our little rescue dog might make it as a therapy dog. And we have Niketa to thank for it.
