I was training my first service dog in training with K911 and recently I had to rehome him due to the year worth of training doing nothing for us. They never taught me how to keep the dog’s attention, barely taught anything to help with service work, and encouraged misbehaving (example: saying a dog acting out and trying to walk to someone was “alerting” when it’s just disobedience.) They allow reactive and aggressive dogs to work and be labeled as service dogs under their program, which according to ada law a service dog cannot have an aggressive actions or bite history. In short, I do not recommend K911 after a year of loyalty to them. There are so many better trainers in the area that can and will actually teach your dog things they should know. The year I was there with my former service dog in training, I was lead in training my dog maybe 4 times. The rest of the time was essentially “do whatever.” In all honesty, I regret going there to train my dog, but feel free to make your own judgement and opinions.
