My dog has been training here for service work since September 2023. She is currently doing public access and we take her to K911 every Saturday. K911 is affordable, quality, self-directed training. The dogs do exercises together, then split into individual training for the back half of the hour. Steve directs owners in their dog's training, working with you on the goals you have for your dog. While my dog is still in training for service, being able to take her in public and training her in tasks specific to my disability has changed my life. I have almost completely overcome my agoraphobia and am much more confident when I am able to have my dog at my side. My dog is quiet and polite in public, and attentive to my needs. I would recommend K911 to anyone who would like to train their own service dog.

This company is putting out untrained service dogs!!! When i was walking into Walmart a few days ago i saw a “service dog” walking in at the same time. The dog was a curly haired tan dog with a tactical harness that said service dog and had a company patch for k911-ky. The dog was entering the store jumping all over everything and insanely reactive. When the dog saw my actual service dog it lost its mind and the handler literally had to drag it away to go outside away from my dog meanwhile my dogs just standing there keeping his focus on me like an actual service dog does. This isn’t the first time I’ve had a bad run in with a “service dog” being “trained” by this company. This is just the worst I’ve seen so far. Please get your service dog trained elsewhere no reputable trainer is letting dogs that act like this be labeling as “service dogs” with their company logo. ADA states that service dogs MUST be under handler control at all times and be non reactive and non aggressive. These dogs acting this way are not service dogs per the ADA.
