K9 Vision at the DLC

We found Myles and K9 Vision via our trusted veterinarian when we expressed some concerns about some of our new puppy’s behaviors. He was struggling with reactions to certain activities such as grooming and being handled. Our pup spent his freshman week with Myles who really took the time to observe and understand him and came back to us to teach us how to better interact with him and mitigate the unwanted behaviors. I think the time Myles spent with us was the most valuable. We needed training more than Yoshi did! It was also so wonderful to see Yoshi’s reaction to Myles when he came to the house. Yoshi ran to him like they were best friends. I could see the trust that was built and how valuable this endeavor was. We are having continued success with Yoshi at home and it is making us all happier. We will continue with training/daycare to keep the process moving forward. I highly recommend this program to anyone in the Buffalo or Tonawanda area.

We have been sending our Doberman, Reina, to DLC with Myles for over two years. He worked with our family collaboratively to train our stubborn little baby. Myles sincerely loves and cares for Reina as though she were his! He and Mr. David (and former assistant Mr. Santiago) are genuinely kind, helpful and competent, and Reina loves them. We learned about Myles and K9 Vision when we adopted our Sadie girl from her foster ‘Mom’ in 2023. Sadie’s foster fur brother attended K9 Vision at the time. Sadie’s foster ‘Mom’ told us how wonderful Myles and his staff were. We followed suit and began to send our shy Sadie to K9 Vision and we’re so beyond happy that we did so! Myles and his staff truly care immensely about each and every dog in their training/day school. Myles takes the devoted time to evaluate the dogs and provide them with the exact individual attention they need. We’re beyond grateful to Myles and his staff for always making Sadie feel safe, comfortable and content while she’s learning and having fun while she’s at day school! We’ve recommended Myles to numerous friends who feel the exact same way as we do! Myles and his staff have been an absolute blessing in Sadie’s and my family’s life. We wholeheartedly give Myles and his staff a five star … 100% recommendation!

My pup completed the 5-day training course and now attends day school 2x/week at K9 Vision. The transformation for this nervous, high strung shelter pup has been incredible. Myles didn’t just focus on building a strong foundation with her—he made sure to equip me with the tools and understanding to manage unwanted behaviors and reinforce the positive ones. Together, we’ve watched her shed so much of her anxiety—no more constant pacing and excessive barking. She now looks to me for guidance and leadership, and it’s clear she feels more secure and confident. One of the most valuable lessons Myles gave me is that training is a team effort. It doesn’t end when your dog walks out the door at K9 Vision—it’s an ongoing commitment at home. Is it sometimes exhausting? Absolutely. Is it 100% worth it? Without question. Myles has been an absolute joy to work with. He answers every text (even my most ridiculous questions) and has supported us through outings in public spaces, offering professional guidance and steady encouragement that helped us both feel safe and confident in new environments. He’s truly part of her committed care team—we love Uncle Myles!
