K9 Vision at the DLC

We had a situation with our one dog where a fight broke out and we were at a loss of what to do with our girl. I had seen Myles on instagram and he has worked with reactive many of times. We booked an assessment and he made us feel so much better about our situation. No judgement for what had happened and no fear of our dog. He has taught not only our girl but us so much about how to handle different situations. We have seen such a difference in our dog since working with Myles. I would 1000% recommend him over and over again. We are extremely grateful for his kindness and realness with us!

We can't say enough good things about the Freshman Training Puppy Class at K9 Vision. If you're in the North Tonawanda or Buffalo area and bringing home a new puppy, this class is one of the best investments you can make. Myles worked with our puppy, Frank, and the difference has been incredible. The structured daily training, consistency, and individualized attention helped give Frank a strong foundation from the very beginning. The skills he learned during the program continue to pay off every day, and Frank is growning into an amazing dog because of it. What really stood out to us was how much time and effort went into making sure each dog and owner got the support they needed. It never felt like a one-size-fits-all program. We were so impressed that we plan to continue working with K9 Vision through day camp and training sessions for our older dog, who struggles with anxiety. Looking back, we only wish we had found Myles when she was a puppy. Thank you, Myles and the entire K9 Vision team, for everything you've done for Frank and our family. We highly recommend K9 Vision to anyone looking for quality dog training.

Our pup Taylor Sniffs is a rescue from Texas. He came to us a terrified, anxious puppy. For the first few months, he hid under furniture and refused to go outside in the dark. He was so shut down, we were at a loss on how to help him. We had some success with a fearful puppy class, but he aged out of it. We took him to daycare, but we suspect he spent most of the day just wanting to go home. We went to a different class that builds confidence, but he was not progressing beyond a certain point. He had a trial for enhanced daycare, but they said he was too fearful... Which is precisely why we brought him there. I felt like we hit a wall, and wasn't sure where to go from there. I found the website for K9 Vision and was able to book a trial the next day. Our pup was enrolled in the Freshman program right away, and he "went to school" for five days straight. He came home tuckered out every day, and we noticed subtle changes almost immediately. He was slightly better on the leash, and he was listening to us a little bit more. After the 5-day program Myles came to our home and gave us a private training session where we gained a better understanding of what we need to do at home, and how we can progress. Myles understood that our goal isn't to have a robot dog that listens to every command, but rather to maximize Taylor's potential so that he is a happy, confident, less fearful dog. Myles explained to us how certain behaviors that we engage in will help him, and how we can achieve those goals together. What I really appreciate about Myles' training style is that he really understands the dog's psychology and uses it to break the cycle of fearfulness and anxiety. After our one-hour session at home, Taylor passed out immediately not from the physical exertion, but from using his brain. What may seem like a simple leash walk down the block is actually a very active exercise for his brain based on the input he gets from our behavior. After working with so many different trainers, I feel like I found someone that really understands our goals, and most importantly, understands our dog. For the first time in the two years we've had Taylor, I'm truly optimistic that he will reach his potential.

So many good things to say about K9 Vision!! I’ve had my first foster for about 2 months now. Cody is a pit-mix, about 1-2yrs old. I got him through Hamburg Mutts for Freedom, first coming from the City Of Buffalo Animal Shelter. Cody was definitely a handful as he was in urgent need of getting out of the shelter due to stress. He had no idea how to control his high energy. Just after this 5-day training program I have seen SO MUCH of a difference in Cody. The way he will walk right next to me on a walk without pulling, listen to commands, stay when told, and show that he does have manners after all. It truly blows me away how much progress he has made in such a short time. I can’t thank Myles enough. The way he worked with Cody and tried different techniques to find out what works best for him was amazing. He even came and did an in-home visit to give me tips and tricks on how to continue training at home. I would absolutely recommend K9 Vision to any friends and family in the Buffalo / West Seneca area. I was so happy with them that we will continue training there to see Cody progress even more and be the best pup for his future forever family. Thanks so much K9 Vision, for all that you do!! 🤗

Highly recommend Myles! We signed up for the 6 week in-home lesson package. Myles is well worth the investment. He trained our family as much as he did our English bull dog pup, Darla. He is very perceptive of human behaviors and how they translates to our dog. He showed us how our well-meaning patterns were actually promoting the very behaviors we were trying to stop (biting, nipping, chewing household items)! Myles listened to our concerns and goals for Darla and worked with us and her in a systematic, step-wise approach that gave us the sustained results we needed. We recently had a friend over to the house that had been here just prior to Darla and us working with Myles, then a few months later and she said “this is like a totally different dog!” Darla went from becoming a spoiled brat that took effort to be around, to the most loving and enjoyable dog that listens, obeys, and follows boundaries. We are so thankful to Myles for all of his instruction and encouragement!
