Negative aspect: my dog did the 365 training program. When I picked up my dog at the end of the program, there was a significant burn mark where the e-collar was used. Dan claimed not to have seen it, but when putting on/ removing the collar (at night) daily, if even the least bit diligent, it would have been pretty hard to miss. I had a vet confirm that the burn mark was from the e-collar. I can understand Dan's motives for not acknowledging it, but still. Proactive accountability is important. It pains me to report this negative "aspect" of the training because in most other ways the experience was very positive.

Our experience with Dan was fantastic. Our dog was reactive and resource guarded. We struggled taking him for walks. Bad behaviors snowballed and we didn’t know where to start. Dan was calm and helped us come up with a plan. We did the Private Training and 365 Program. Dan was flexible and was open to answer any questions. Our dog now understands it is ok to relax without having to be in our space. We can now have guests over without stressing. Dan showed us how to handle these situations to set up our dog for success. Walking our dog is amazing now. We have techniques as owners to ensure a positive experience when having him out in public. We never thought it would be possible to crate train our dog, but now he goes in with ease and is so calm when inside. We worked on recall as well. We learned a ton and are more confident with our dog. Dan helped us understand how all the training ties together, so that we can ensure we continue the incredible progress that we have seen. This has undoubtedly led to an overall better dog while still being the same fun, happy, loving pup we knew he was. Dan & the PRT team are the best! We can honestly say they changed our lives for the better!
