K9 Unified Dog Training, located in Simsbury, Connecticut, offers customized dog obedience training tailored to each dog's unique personality and needs. Our belief is that every dog is as individual as their quirks, so we craft personalized programs to help them master basic obedience or tackle behavioral challenges.
Our services include private dog training, dog behavioral training, dog day training (drop-off), and a dog board and train program. My partner and I are so thankful for the amazing experience we had working with Dan and everyone at Pawsitive Reinforcement Training. We came to Dan to help us with our deaf puppy, Ozzie, and we are SO happy we found him. Dan and his team took such great care of Ozzie and really helped us with everything we needed to work on. Dan is so compassionate and really took the time to understand and get to know Ozzie to better guide him through his training. Dan taught him different signs as well as got him to be more comfortable with his surroundings. We are so grateful for everyone at PRT and Ozzie had such a great time that he will be going back for playgroup during the week! Forever grateful for Dan and everyone at PRT!

Dan, Heather and all the staff were fantastic with our dog Bowser. We brought him to them as a very reactive dog. They taught him (and us) to be calm and confident when it comes interacting with other dogs and people. We can't thank them enough!

Amazing people, amazing results! We are so thankful to Dan for his knowledge, dedication and help in training our 1 year old German Shepherd. Dan is a well versed dog trainer, with amazing people skills as well. We loved the training sessions and felt really comfortable throughout the process. Dan is an amazing trainer and couldn't have asked for better results with our dog Leo. He has built up Leo's confidence in public and was very patient and understanding with both Leo and us as dog parents. He loves dogs and it shows ❤️ We highly recommend Dan and his staff!!

Dan was very effective and knowledgeable on our leash training with our twin labs. Dan is direct in his training and you feel like you are with someone who really knows dogs. He is totally worth the money!🐕💙
