Is there a way of teaching my german shepherd to not bark so much?
It is difficult to give you advice when I haven't seen you and your shepherd. Dogs bark for various reasons and I adapt my training style based on how the dog responds and what the dog needs to feel stable. I would be more than happy to meet with you for an initial consultation.

We have been very pleased with our experience for our dogs. All 3 dogs,with different behavior problems, now have a much nicer quality of life. We rescued a darling but very powerful 140 pound Mastiff who was very difficult to walk. After 2 weeks with Shannon she is no longer concerned with other people or dogs on our outings. Shannon is excellent at learning about each dogs personally and making a plan to help them learn how to be part of a family.
Shannon is the best. She helped me train my 5 month old puppy, Nala, to come when called off a leash. It only took us 3 half sessions for Nala to be fully off leash! I highly recommend Shannon to anyone that is considering professional training for their dog.
Shannon was great with my dog in both walking and training. She definitely cares deeply for the animals she works with and you can tell she has a great connection with them. The training definitely helped my dog with reactivity issues and has made walks much more enjoyable for both of us.

We could not be happier with the training. Previously, we could not walk our lab without our arms being pulled from our sockets. After only 7 days, Sadie now walks on a loose leash, always comes when we call and , in general, is a calmer, happier dog who is an absolute pleasure to take for walks. We are so pleased with the results we are now planning to purchase the next level of training. Shannon is also very gentle and loving that we had no reservations about leaving our pup with her for an extended period.
