K9 Reset

It's been a few months since I sent my pup to K9 Reset and the work has really stuck. Rich does such an incredible job training both you and your dog. He's compasisonate, understanding, supportive, and easy to work with. He perfectly balances being direct and being kind. He's clearly an expert on working with bigger and more stubborn dogs. He also does well with agressive/scared dogs. I brought my 5 year old shepherd to him and the results were beyond what I could have expected. You won't regret working with Rich!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Rich! Before the board and train, my dog was extremely protective of me. I dreaded taking him for walks because he would get reactive and it felt stressful for both of us. After spending time with Rich and his wife, the transformation has been incredible. My dog came home calmer, more confident, and so much easier to manage. Walks are now enjoyable instead of nerve-wracking, and I feel like I finally get to have the relationship with my dog that I always wanted. What I loved most was that Rich not only worked wonders with my dog, but also took the time to teach me how to keep the training consistent. They were patient, professional, and truly cared about setting us both up for success. If you’re struggling with a dog who feels unmanageable, I cannot recommend K9 Reset enough. The difference is night and day—I finally feel hopeful and proud when I take my dog out into the world.

We sent our 1 year old male GSD mix to training with Rich and let me tell you he came home a brand new dog. Before training he was anxious, could never just settle down and relax, struggled with recall, and typically barked at unfamiliar people and dogs. Now he is substantially less anxious, settles when instructed, and even settled on a walk the other day talking to a neighbor he didn’t know! Rich is so attentive and truly cares about your pup. We got frequent updates, videos, and pictures during the week. We highly highly recommend Rich & K9 reset.

I can’t say enough great things about K9 Reset and Rich! I had first called him over a year ago, and he was so patient answering all my questions. I really wish I had started sooner. I recently brought my German Shepherd, Sage, for a board and train while I was on vacation, and the experience was fantastic. Her reactivity to certain triggers has gone down significantly, and she’s so much calmer overall. Walking her is now an absolute pleasure. She walks beautifully on leash. I also really appreciated the training updates Rich sent while I was away, which gave me peace of mind and let me see her progress in real time. I highly recommend K9 Reset to anyone looking for a patient, knowledgeable trainer who truly cares about the dogs he works with. Sage is a happier, more balanced dog thanks to Rich.

My 1.5 year old Boxer/Lab mix, Goose, did a week long board & train with Rich a few months back. I could not be happier with the progress Goose has made! He was very ill mannered and reactive before Rich started his training. Rich was incredibly patient and thorough with Goose and with myself, answering any questions I had at any time. Rich was communicative during his entire training week with videos and messages and when it came time to pick Goose up he made everything clear as to what was expected of us when we got back home. It was an adjustment but sooooo worth it! Now, I feel comfortable with Goose around other dogs, his listening skills have tremendously improved, and he still has his fun loving personality. Even with it being a couple months later I know I can reach out to Rich at any time and he is always willing to help. So grateful for him and everything he’s done for us!!
