K9 Reset

I am so happy that we brought our beagle Meri over to Rich. He did a wonderful job training both her and us! She is 2 1/2 and spent her early life in captivity so she really behaved like a puppy, with some bad habits like chewing electrical cords and shredding paper. Rich trained her and us in the use of the e-collar, and she responds great to that, but it is even more amazing that we don't need to push the button very often. Rich did much more than just directly work on breaking those habits -- he worked on her confidence as well. Of course we all loved Meri like crazy even before the training, but now she is just such a better member of our household!

Rich contacted me when I had been searching for board & train services for my pup. My main concerns were working on her intense anxiety and leash reactivity. Rich was very informative and helpful during the initial phone call, the subsequent consultation, and the e-collar training prior to the board and train. He was extremely knowledgeable and great at breaking down everything we needed to know and coaching us on how to implement things into our routine at home. During the board and train Rich was very responsive and sent updates often so we could see how our girl was doing! 10/10 we were very comfortable leaving our dog with him and we have seen a total difference & Rich gave us the coaching necessary to continue the work ourselves when we got her home!

Rich was amazing to work with and just an all round nice guy. He really took the time to understand what we were trying to accomplish with our young Boston Terrier and explained everything thoroughly. Our puppy was obedient, but needed some behavioral work to cut out some bad habits and to be more attentive to listen. With a baby on the way we made the plunge forward with the training and I wish we did it earlier! The techniques Rich teaches the dogs and owners really does work and now we can walk Kray with no issue and have him understand not everything in on his terms and not everywhere is a playground. My husband and I aren’t trainers so as much as you try it’s so much better to have someone guide you and explain to you they why behind it. If you are on edge about moving forward, it will pay off! As long as you keep up with the techniques and discipline that is. It’s not hard and makes your life so much easier

I was looking for a dog trainer for 2 weeks of board and train for our puppy. I was contacted by Rich and am very happy that he did so. After an initial visit (which was free), we felt very comfortable leaving our puppy with him. Rich has a very calming demeanor and explains things very well. Our dog was very well trained for a 5 month dog. And we are quite happy with our experience. Would definitely do it again and probably will do a refresher course in the future. definitely do it again and probably will do a refresher course in the future.
