K9 Reset

Most pet owners want the best for their “fur babies”, and want the best in the home life together - One of the most humbling experiences, but probably the most wisdom -filled; is to acknowledge that no matter ‘how smart we think we are’, if things aren’t working at home with our ‘pawed loves’, where EVERYONE gets to thrive, ‘SOMEONE’ might have a better way. K9 Reset has been the best decision we have made for both us as owners and our pup to live a calm, structured and happy life. Being such lovers of dogs and this being our first dog (a lab), we did a lot of things that are not the right things; gave our pup the world with lack of structure. We were slowly losing control of our day-to-day with him, and the main reason for doing this training was so we as dog owners can properly train our boy in order to give him the structure he needs. We have been with trainers who really don’t care to train the owners at all and just want to make sure you sign up for the next class; all about the $$. Rich at K9 reset is quite the opposite. He cares way more about making sure we as the owners know how to properly train and handle our pup so we can ALL live a happy life with structure and control. Rich even starts off with an introduction session and a follow-up before the formal training begins. What really got me excited to even start working with Rich at K9 Reset is our initial conversation over the phone. No one wants to go to a trainer just to be scolded we are doing everything wrong. Rich made sure we felt positivity going into this and really felt like I was talking to someone who had been in my exact shoes, and truly wants to help. SO - we did a week boarding session where we got updates the entire time, videos, etc. so we could actually see the progress, the struggles, and the rewards of persistent, proper training. This already had us excited as we were learning along the way with our boy. When we came to pick up our boy we had another session with Rich showed us a lot of hands-on tactics in tough situations on how to properly handle and train our pup. We have had him home for a couple weeks now and let me tell you, our life with our dog is 10x better than what it was. Now, it is on us as the owners to actually follow the instructions from K9 Reset and stay persistent with training but Rich made sure we are equipped and ready to go for when we brought our boy back home. Rich still reaches out to check on our pup, how training is going, and offers advice continuously. If you need a “reset” with your pup that you love so much, there is no better choice than K9 Reset. Hands down.

I highly recommend using Rich’s reset program if you are looking to set a strong foundation for a healthy relationship with your dog. Rich did a great job with our dog while we traveled for two weeks. She is now less reactive, more attentive to us on walks and overall has a calmer temperament and is aligned with our expectations at home. Rich himself is a great guy and clearly cares about the dogs he trains. I’d recommend this program over a kennel any day.

My family decided to get a golden retriever puppy and we instantly knew she had the potential to be a smart/ trainable dog. When looking around, Rich was the second person we reached out to. His initial responsiveness was great and from our initial conversation I knew I wanted him to train the newest member of our family. We had two evaluations which went well and Hallie stayed with him for a week at five months old. It was like a different puppy came home, she was well-behaved, well-mannered and very responsive.
