I adopted two female Cunucu rescues between 2020 & 2022. My five year old missed socialization due to Covid lockdowns and has anxiety with new people and other dogs. What I learned from Molly during our training on Saturday, is that, this pup is also very possessive of me. The two pups stopped getting along two years ago, after a food, then a me, Resource guarding fight. I've lived a life of musical dogs, keeping them apart, ever since. I tried various trainers, who let us down, canceling more than showing up, among other things. My four year old has major anxiety with men (after a horrible dog sitter experience), new people, noise, other dogs, and stationery objects, and barks constantly at everything out the window. She is highly prey driven and pulls on leash. I've watched feedback on K9R for a few months and liked what I saw. My anxious younger pup was a wreck when Molly and Joanna arrived at my house. By the end of the day, I was able to walk her on leash with ease, witness her let Molly trim her nails (has always been a nightmare), and be amazed at her fondness for Molly. She also learned "down", which I had been unsuccessful at teaching her. We have a distance to go, and ultimately, I want my girls to get along again, but now that I have some basic tools, and steps to follow, I am hopeful! Having peace for my girls and for myself, is so worth it! Jackie Shanley
