I highly recommend using K9 Optimal Training Solutions. Jake is very knowledgeable when it comes to training dogs. He emphasizes the importance of building a trusting relationship with your dog to ensure your dog listens to you and that your dog knows what you’re asking of them. I will definitely be joining the pack program now that my puppy and I are done with Jake’s puppy program!

I started going to Jake a couple years ago because my dog, Skylla, was reactive on walks. She was terrified of people approaching us and I didn’t know how to properly handle it. We started scent work to form a bond and make us both more confident where she then later on got titles in it and behaved 10X better than the “show dogs” that were very reactive around her. She got all three levels of her Canine Good Citizen and is in the pack class every week. She can now co exist with other dogs, even high energy ones that would previously set her off. Jake is very knowledgeable and has helped us more than words can say. I was nervous to take the plunge into training at first but I’m so glad I did because skylla is a different dog and we live a much more fulfilled life
Jake and K9Ops was great to work with. We did an evaluation for tracking. We talked about previous sport experience and how that can help and hinder our trading goals.
K9 optimal training was perfect for what we needed. Very informative with good results.
