K9 Logic Dog Training

When I found myself suddenly disabled with bilateral tendon injuries, one of my main struggles was figuring out how to continue caring for my dog when I could no longer hold a leash. I tried using a waist leash, but it was clear that wasn’t providing enough communication for her. She was pulling and becoming reactive of the environment without the usual physical direction from me and the slip-lead. I was honestly afraid that my only option would be to rehome her. Then I found k9 Logic. Andy helped me get her trained on an E collar, so that I could again have a communication language with my dog. This time, it would be a language that would require no strength from my arms. Our communication became even clearer than ever before, and our relationship deepened. I am now once again able to hike with her, go on walks with her, and generally live a life with her. Additionally, the people at k9 Logic have been incredibly kind and supportive throughout my ordeal, letting her stay with them in boarding extra days when I needed to because of a flare and generally helping in any way they could. I have already recommended them verbally to others. Here, I can recommend them through the written word to strangers.

My dog Sarabi recently completed K9 Logics 8 week board and train program and we are thrilled with the results! K-9 Logic is a game-changer! Their 8-week training program has transformed the life of our dog Moshi, a 2-year-old Australian Cattle dog. Before K-9 Logic, Moshi and I had tried a couple of trainers, but none of them were able to address Moshi's reactive behavior towards his triggers. K-9 Logic's approach is different. They are caring and genuinely want to help you and your dog. With Moshi's anxious and fearful behavior, such as lunging, excessive barking, and nipping it was a challenge for me to take him out for walks. Moshi is still fearful when meeting new people and dogs but with the tools and skills we’ve gained from training it has helped me help Moshi overcome some of those barriers. The training program's impact extends beyond Moshi, I feel more confident and less anxious when handling him. Still a work in progress but Moshi has become a bit more confident and so have I.
