K9 Logic Dog Training

I had a really positive experience with K9 Logic and have seen such a difference in Luna since starting training. Luna is a deaf Great Dane who struggled with a lot of fear, anxiety, and reactivity toward unfamiliar people. While she still has work to do, the improvement in her behavior is honestly hard to ignore. Before training, meeting new people could be extremely stressful, and I often worried about how she would react. Recently, she met three of my friends for the first time—all at once—and did AMAZINGLY. No muzzle, just the e-collar and the tools I learned through training. Within minutes she was comfortable around everyone and even sitting on one of my friends’ laps. That would have been almost unimaginable before. Seeing her make that kind of progress has given me so much hope. Not only does it feel like I can have a social life again 😂, but I can actually picture Luna becoming the calm, loving, trusting dog I know she can be. We still have a way to go, but I really don’t think that interaction with my friends would have been possible without the foundation K9 Logic gave us.

We had such a great experience with K9 Logic! I originally brought my 16lb pug to them because he had developed a serious habit of chasing cars, and I really needed help addressing the behavior safely. Of course, while working on that issue, he also went through all of the basic training, which ended up being so good for him. He did really well, and I was so happy with the progress he made. Our trainer, Alice, was wonderful, and everyone at K9 Logic was always so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. One of the things I appreciated most was how comfortable and safe I felt leaving my dog there every Saturday for 8 hours. That kind of trust means a lot when you're leaving your dog in someone else's care. We had a really positive experience from start to finish, and I would absolutely recommend K9 Logic to anyone who needs help with their dog. They were great to work with, and I’m so glad we found them!

Everyone at K9 Logic is professional, caring, and very knowledgeable! My dog and I received great instructions every step of the way, and he's truly a changed dog! - They brought out the best in him and guided me along in a simple, easy-to-follow step process that worked so well. So grateful for everyone for their warmth and assistance, especially Sasha, our trainer, and Morgan, who coordinated everything! I love that we can be a part of the alumni community too with continued access to group classes.

I took my 10 month old Australian Shepherd, Ginger, to K9 logic last june. I wanted to be able to trust Ginger in hectic environments and off leash, so that I could provide her with the most freedom. Unfortunately my work picked up and I wasn't providing the consistency Ginger needed in training. I considered a board/train program and found K9 logic. From the start Chris was very clear about expectations and his process. I was apprehensive about using an E-coller, but Chris explained proper use vs improper use and even let me feel the e-coller to make sure I was comfortable with it. Money was a concern for me, but Chris was able to work within my budget to provide a board and train program that created a solid foundation for us to continue to build on. After the 3-week program ginger was able to sit, lay down, recall, go to place and hold these commands for extended amounts of time. More importantly she had developed an understanding of the training tools, commands, and rewards. K9 logic also took the time to teach me how to use these training methods correctly to continue reinforcing the existing training and introduce new training. Additionally we enjoy the alumni meet ups where we can ask chris questions. Ginger isn't quite off leash level yet, but she is well on her way.

Our experience with K9 logic was stellar. The two trainers we worked with were super informative, resourceful, kind , fun and professional. Our dog went from being afraid when we would get to the training facility, to knowing he was heading to a place where he would learn and succeed and be loved and have fun. His confidence soared, and his ability to harness his protective instincts improved so much over the course of 12 weeks. Our dog used to pull on his leash and hyperventilate for the duration of our walks. Now we walks right beside us and doesn't react when another dog passes us. I highly recommend K9 logic for anxious, protective, energetic dogs. The trainers are so skilled at getting to know your dog and bringing out the best in them. Amazing.
