Extra care is considered our more dangerous "shadow" dogs as well as medically complex dogs. These dogs require more skilled staff and more cautious handling for safety. If they are "extra-care medical dog" they have more involved medical needs that require additional accommodations.
Shadow dogs go into socials on-leash walking around with a staff member acting as a supportive shadow. This is to help new dogs or dogs that need to learn the rules, boundaries, or general social skills.

Great place to take your dogs!
We love the training program at K9 Lifeline, I don't know what we would've done without it! We also enjoy daycare, boarding, grooming, and Saturday social. Having everything we need at the same facility has been fantastic - our pup loves it here! Excellent staff, very friendly, helpful, and great with the dogs. We won't go anywhere else!
K9 has helped us so much with our crazy dog whom we adore!! Thanks for all the training and guidance. We can all live happily ever after! Mousse loves staying at k-9 while we travel out of town. I love watching the videos they take of puppy socials and post on Facebook! I wouldn’t take Mousse anywhere else.
I've been a loyal customer of K9 lifeline sonce it's start. I started long ago with my first dog Kai coming to doggy socials on Saturdays and now with my boy Tig who does daycare. they are knowledgeable, professional, kind and he always comes home happy and tired. 100% recommend for anyone looking for a professional structured, safe daycare or boarding for their dogs
K9 Lifeline is the best. The knowledge and care the entire staff shows is unmatched. They take their time hiring to make sure the person will fit and shares the values that guide K9 Lifeline. Everyone treats the dogs liked family. They truly love them and want only the best. They are extremely knowledgeable in handling "high maintenance" dogs and helping them overcome any issues.
