My 16 month old 110lb cane corso puppy was pushing me to my wits end. I had started training her at 8 weeks old when I got her, with group training thereafter, but after a while realized I needed professional training help. K9 LEARNING ACADEMY was my answer. We decided to do the doggy boot camp, and missing her during that time was well worth the result! Matt, the owner/trainer, is also a dog behaviorist, which brings his training to a whole new level. He explains the whys which helped me a lot. His continued support is so important to me as well as his all around care for our girl. Stu, was amazing, his knowledge and training ability got our girl to be the obedient, sweet dog we wanted!! Without hesitation, I 100% recommend K9 Learning Academy!

Rescued my dog from the woods in October 2025 with assistance of police. They took her to Horry County Animal Care Center where I fostered her the next day. I found Caleb, now Coco’s trainer in November. He has been a God send! So patient with her and with me. My dog, Coco has come a long, long way since then. I have boarded her 2x with him and each time I pick her up she had met another mile stone and is the dog we’ve been waiting for.

We have a rescue who always reacted whenever my husband moved or walked near me. He guards me and does not like anyone coming near me. He was also very reactive to other dogs when going on walks. We decided to do the room and board program. The trainer Caleb took him to his house for three weeks and worked with him. Caleb is very calm and patient and Charlie liked him a lot. He still has some issues when walking but is much better at home with my husband and relatives. I would highly recommend K9 Academy . Five stars ⭐️

I contacted K9 Learning Academy after experiencing some behavioral issues with my Golden Doodle. She is 3 years old and we adopted her when she was 7 months. Matt came and did a assessment on her and we started working with Caleb. What a Godsend! He really does care about your dog(s) and wants the best outcome possible for everyone. I was to the point where I was thinking of having her "put down" rather than taking her to a shelter. He has worked with her,coached us and her,provided resources and really listens to your concerns and how to handle situations. I HIGHLY recommend reaching out to Caleb if you are looking for a training program for your dog.
