K9 Kompanion Training

We adopted our dog Nimbus from Aruba, 5 yrs ago. We love him dearly. He was always a fear reactive dog, but we could manage him mostly. After Covid he became really protective and fear reactive, toward both people and dogs. We had trainers work with us and with him with no success. We were desperate, no one would board him or take care of him. He came close to really hurting people and other dogs. Tiffany and Cat at K9 Kompanions saved us. They worked hard with Nimbus and trained us on how to be consistent with him. We are working with him everyday and working on our own anxiety and consistency. Our house is more peaceful and happy. We are able to take walks and runs with out incidents of aggression. We are so happy with the connection with K9 Kompanions and so very great-full!! I cannot imagine where we would be today, if we didn’t find them!!

We had a great experience with K9 Kompanion as they took on the training of our rescue 3-year old Goldendoodle Luna. Luna is a loving and fun dog, but needed more structure. We like to explore the outdoors with her and want to avoid any scenarios stemming from lack of discipline. During the two weeks of training, our friends at K9 Kompanion helped Luna gain confidence and develop a trusting and respectful relationship with the trainers. After those two weeks, they personally dropped-off Luna and taught us how to continue the work at home. We were excited to see her accomplishments and continued her training at home, which now allows us to go outdoors without any worries of her being off-leash (she's also great on leash!). We have a loving, structured, trusting relationship thanks to the care and time K9K devoted to her. Whenever we are out of town, we trust K9K with her care and she is always excited to see her friends there. Luna is an EPI dog (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency) and needs a special diet and meds combination. K9K have always provided her with the attention and care her condition requires and she has never experienced a flare-up under their care. Can't say enough good things about them, Luna and I highly recommend them!

K9 Kompanion is amazing! Our Beau went to board and train and came back to us happier than ever. Tiffany, Kat and the whole K9 crew helped our family and Beau build trust and communication that makes life with a dog so much more enjoyable. Beau loves to be outside and off leash and we are now comfortable bringing him with us everywhere. We were nervous about re-entry back into reality but K9 Kompanion offers ongoing opportunities for training with their Pack Walks and daycare. The team periodically checks in on our progress and provides suggestions to encourage the mental training, as well as physical activities. And, the send great action photos!! We are so thankful to have found K9 Kompanion and can't say enough great things about them!
