K9 Kenny

We cannot recommend Kenny enough! We were having some issues with our 10 month old cockapoo and we knew we needed some help. After searching for a while, we came across K9 Kenny and we are forever grateful. We noticed a difference in our pup just after 1 session! One of the best parts is that Kenny will send you a very thorough email the day after training to make sure we have a reference point to look back on. He is always available and very helpful. We truly looked forward to our training sessions and will definitely be back once we want to work on more advanced training. If you live in Austin and need some dog training - KENNY IS YOUR GUY!!

Kenny is intelligent, perceptive, and an exceptionally skilled dog trainer. Beyond his expertise, he is genuinely a nice guy. We had six sessions with our Goldendoodle, Bo, and found them to be extremely helpful. Six sessions, however, is not enough training to accomplish anything unless you follow Kenny’s instructions and do your homework, using the techniques that Kenny will teach you during each session. In other words, after a session, you practice what you learned. If you don't do your homework, you will be wasting your money. Kenny doesn’t train your dog. He trains you to train your dog, and Kenny is excellent at motivating you to do your homework. My wife and I wholeheartedly give Kenny our highest recommendation.

My daughter and I recently took her dog to K9 Kenny for some needed behavioral training🤪. I found Kenny to be a great trainer; highly professional, patient, friendly and focused on "best behavior" not stern training methods. I really appreciated how he sent follow-up emails after each training class that were detailed and reviewed the steps we had worked on. I definitely recommend K9 Kenny if you have need of a dog trainer - he's terrific!

Kenny completely exceeded my expectations for a trainer for my dog Cooper! He takes extra precaution by proofing his garage to make sure your dog can’t accidentally escape during training. He creates a solid plan for each session and sends a detailed follow up email outlining how to practice the commands/actions at home. If you ever have questions between sessions, rest assured that Kenny will respond in a very timely manner. My rescue is afraid of men, but warmed up to Kenny during the first session because of how well he keeps his demeanor - warm and straight to the point! I will definitely be using Kenny for follow up sessions in the future, and would recommend him to everyone no matter the breed, size, or temperament of the dog! To sum it up, I got 10x more out of this training program than my parents ever did with our labs growing up because Kenny makes sure you are actively involved the entire time!

Kenny was extremely helpful in the training of our puppy (and me)! We went through the training exercises in the session and followed up with very detailed notes. I would refer back to the notes after i practice to refine points that I was missing. He helped me understand how my actions were causing confusion to the puppy. I came out of the training lessons with a very different puppy! So thankful for his help!
