K9 Intuition Dog Training

I can not thank Candace and Stefano enough for teaching us how to work with our Great Dane. I was so afraid Doris would live her whole life in the house due to her guarding/anxious behavior when out. After training with Candace and Stefano, we were able to go have lunch at a sidewalk cafe with friends, and Doris was so much better than the last disastrous time. A few reminders, but no longer barking at everyone or lunging at the servers. She chilled on her blanket and I was able to enjoy my lunch with the leash loose between us. Everyone at the table commented on how much different she was. I can't wait for all the adventures we'll be able to go on now! Thank you, thank you!

100% Worth Every Penny!! What can I say, Stefano and everyone at K-9 Intuition are amazing! Honestly, they changed the life of our 2 year old pup Ringo, a lab we rescued (1 year ago) that was scared of and reactive to people and has a bite history. When we found K-9 intuition we honestly were at a loss of what else we could do to help Ringo.. we thought we were always going to have to have a pup that no one else would be able to truly know his lovable, smart, cuddly, funny, fun side like we do when no one was around. From day 1 on the evaluation day, where Ringo wouldn’t even let anyone near him and even look at him or he would try to bite them to week 3 of training Ringo finally going to family that he hadn’t ever let pet him (1 year after adopting) and actually loved it.. also Ringo being excited when we were on the way to school to see Stefano, to week 5 where Ringo is excited to see people and be loved on!! Stefano taught us along with Ringo so much so that Ringo can now live his best life and us the confidence to help Ringo continue to grow and build his confidence even more!! Thank you K-9 Intuition!! I have nothing but great things to say about Stefano and the K9intuition style of training. Our dog was bit by a rattlesnake and had complications during aftercare, and I reached out to see if Stefano had any recommendations as to who could help me wrangle my dog who was reacting with aggressive behavior and I was struggling. Stefano asked some questions and then offered his own help! Watching him work with my dog, it was comforting to see the amount of patience and irrefutable understanding he had with our dog. Even as he’s figuring out the best approach, he was guiding me on how to handle my dogs reactions and behaviors. To say that Stefano is gifted is an understatement, and it was such a relief for me and for my dog, Cowboy. I’ve no doubt that any dog and their owners would be lucky to work with k9intuition and the entire staff. Thankyou again!!!

After just our first first session with Stefano, our rescue Baxter is a totally different dog. Stefano teaches all the subtleties that go into training and communicating with your dog. Baxter is/was a very anxious rescue who is easily startled, tends to tense up when encountering other dogs and would sometimes be aggressive on-leash. After the first lesson, Baxter was immediately a better walker on leash; he would no longer pull, and would not even pay attention to other dogs when walking by them. We loved how Stefano communicated the importance of the relationship between owner and dog, and how to focus on every nuanced interaction that you have with your dog – both that you’re aware of and what you’re not aware of. After all of our sessions, Baxter is a much better behaved dog who is far less anxious, and is much more obedient both on-leash and off-leash. On top of it all Stefano is a great guy – he really knows his stuff and is fun to talk to - we often enjoyed our sessions with him.

Just finished the board and train program with K9 Intuition, and I have nothing but positive things to say. I have a one year old German Shepherd who was having trouble interacting with other dogs. I was unable to get within 100 yards of another animal without my dog reacting and being uncontrollable. I knew he needed more help than I could provide so I began searching for trainers. I looked at multiple trainers all over Southern California, and even Nevada, before I found one I felt comfortable with leaving my boy with, K9 Intuition. From the second I first met with Stefano I knew that he was capable enough to not only train my boy, but to take great care of him while he was there. He openly answered any questions I had, which showed that he not only knew what he's doing but that he cared I felt comfortable with the program. Throughout the process, I was kept well informed about the status of his training, through text messages and videos. The change I saw in my dog's behavior after only one week was enough to justify the investment and settle any doubts I had about my choice to enroll in the board and train program. Going from not being able to behave within 100 yards of another animal, to walking in a perfect heel right next to another dog. Not only did they train my dog, they also trained me on how to properly use the equipment and techniques to keep progressing forward with training. When I picked my boy up I felt that I had enough confidence and knowledge to be successful. Stefano is dedicated to continuing to see my boy progress by encouraging me to reach out with any questions, and scheduling a session in a few weeks to refine everything we've learned. I am able to live the dog mom life of my dreams thanks to Stefano & his team at K9 Intuition.
