K9 Instincts

We rescued our four year old OES Sully from a hording situation where he was abandoned. Sully spent little to no time outside and as a result had high anxiety walking on a leash. His anxiety would escalate when a bicycle, jogger, stroller, ETC went by to the point where he was uncontrollable. As a result of being abandoned he also had significant food aggression. After our first consult with Britt at K9 Instincts she concluded that if we didn't address Sully's issues now they would only continue to escalate, so we made the decision to enroll him in thier training program. Well four weeks later we cannot believe the result. Sully is a new Dog! And seems happier. Walking, playing in the yard off leash are no longer a concern. Food aggression, under control. We cannot say enough about what Britt and her team did for us by giving Sully a new lease on life!! We highly reccomend K9 Instincts. Thier knowledge and compassion are unmatched.

K9 Instincts trained our Airedale Terrier 4 years ago and we have boarded him there ever since. Matt, Britt, Emily, and the team love my dog!! He is happy every time we bring him there for retraining and a mini vacation. He also gets a spa day on the day of pick up. We wouldn’t trust our family member with anyone else. We sent our 6 month old German Shepherd for a month and we could not be happier with the results. Prior to her training, she was fearful of every dog she came across and showed very little confidence causing her to show signs of aggression and she was becoming reactive. The difference k9 instincts made in just 4 weeks is truly amazing. I’ve had her home for only 1 week, and with consistency in her training I can confidently take her for walks in busy areas. She’s no longer overwhelmed and stays by my side. I actually took her to an outdoor restaurant and she laid by my side calmly. I never thought I’d see the day! I took my 10 month old golden to K9 instincts be trained. Prior to going to training he had a mind of his own. Jumped on counters and people, pulled terribly on a leash, and did not know any commands. After his time with K9 instincts he is a whole new pup! He no longer jumps on counters or people. He will stay in the down position for an hour if told, even if there is a party at the house and best yet my 10 yr old daughter who weighs the same amount as him is able to walk him on the leash with no issues at all! We are also able to take him on walks off leash through the woods and he will stay right by my side. I highly recommend k9 instincts to anyone who is having dog troubles. They made a HUGE difference.
