K9 Functional Training

Jax Is an 11 month old pitbull puppy, liked to play run jump bite. He is goofy, playful, but very rough. He didn’t like to listen. After training with K-9 Functional Training for two weeks, my wonderful dog came back, still playful, still goofy, still everything that made him an adorable puppy, but without the roughness the biting that made him hard to control. Jax Is going everywhere with me now, he has been to stores, restaurants. Once I stop walking, he sits, commands are Easily obeyed. He is still my wonderful puppy, loves people, but now people can love him as well thank you Jason For taking my out of control little boy, and turning him into such an awesome member of our family, we will be forever grateful.

I cannot recommend Jason enough! He played a huge role in helping transform my Dalmatian, Disco, into a well-behaved service dog. At just five months old, Disco is already a complete rockstar, and so much of that is thanks to Jason’s dedication, patience, and his teams expertise. One thing I really appreciated was the daily updates. Jason consistently kept me informed on Disco’s progress, sent photos and videos, and took the time to explain what they were working on. It gave me so much confidence knowing she was in great hands. Not only did he teach Disco excellent obedience and service dog skills, but he also trained her using Spanish commands, which was something I really loved. His attention to detail and ability to tailor the training to both the dog and owner truly set him apart. Disco came home more confident, focused, and responsive than I could have imagined. Watching a five-month-old puppy perform with such maturity, focus, and enthusiasm has been incredible. She is truly a rockstar, and I know she wouldn’t be where she is today without Jason’s guidance. It’s clear that Jason genuinely cares about the dogs he works with and is passionate about helping them succeed. If you’re looking for a trainer who is professional, communicative, and dedicated to getting real results, I highly recommend him. Thank you, Jason, for everything you’ve done for Disco!

We sent our 1 year old golden doodle to K9 Functional Training. He had tendencies of not walking well on leash, getting into things, and overall disobedience. Jason and his team turned his behavior issues completely around. After only two weeks we now have a dog that is constantly complimented for how well behaved he is! He still has his same old bubbly personality but is now one of the best behaved dogs I have ever been around and is a joy to bring in public and show off. We cannot sing K9 Functional Training’s praises enough and would highly recommend them whether your dog has severe behavioral issues or just needs a little extra help being all it can be.

My dog Jaz just completed a two week board and train program with Jason at K9 Functional Training and the results have been life changing! Jaz is a one year old pitbull who went to Jason completely wild with no obedience training at all, pulled so bad on walks, jumped all over people, ate almost everything he could find, overstimulated all the time, had no impulse control and was so anxious that he was on Prozac. Jaz came home a completely transformed dog! He listens to every command, he is calm, focused, thriving and even doesn’t need Prozac anymore! Jason sent me videos and pictures everyday of Jaz’s progress so I was just as involved and able to see his progress. In every single video Jaz was being loved on, cuddled and praised by Jason which brought me a lot of comfort and peace as well. At the end of the training, Jason explained and walked through everything Jaz had learned during his two weeks there so I felt prepared and able to continue with the training at home. When I took Jaz on his first walk at home after leaving training, I was in awe at how comfortable, safe and relaxed the walk was for Jaz and me. Jaz came home still his sweet, goofy, fun self just well mannered, calm and balanced. Jaz is better supported and our relationship is so much stronger and sweeter. I had a friend recommend Jason who told me how much the training has helped her dog and family and I seriously cannot recommend Jason at K9 Functional Training enough myself!!!
