K9 Functional Training

I cannot say enough good things about Jason and Haley. From my very first phone call, Jason was kind, patient, and completely professional. I had to move my start date more than once and he never made me feel like an inconvenience — just courteous and respectful every single time. That's how you know a business is run right, and it's why I felt comfortable handing over my dog for two weeks. Haley worked with Marshmallow every day and she was wonderful with him. My cocker spaniel went in completely out of control and came home a different dog — still 100% his goofy self, just so much better behaved. She also sent me photos and videos every single day, so I never had to wonder how he was doing or whether he was happy. Had 2 referrals from people that had their dogs trained by Jason. So glad I decided to go with K9 Functional Training. From our first meeting to get acquainted to dropping off my Standard Poodle for 2 weeks, I knew this was going to be a good experience for my dog AND for me. Getting daily texts and videos was great! Going to different enviroments was really important in building confidence and improving socialization. Phenomenal job with my Standard Poodle!!! Jason said she would come home a different dog and she did!

I highly recommend K9 Functional Training. We have adopted a three year old bernedoodle and she did not walk well on a leash and she did not have a lot of self confidence. After two weeks of training she came home to us a much more confidant dog. She plays well with other dogs and is much more comfortable around people. It is now a pleasure taking her on nice long walks. She no longer pulls on the leash and stays right at my knee. She has also mastered her stay and place commands very well. Both Jason and Haley are very knowledgeable, professional and experienced. They communicated to us daily about Luna’s progress. We cannot thank them enough for helping us and more importantly Luna!

Jason and Haley were absolutely amazing with our dog, Zeke. From day one, you could tell they truly care about the dogs they work with and want them to succeed. They took the time to explain everything, answered all of our questions, and made the training process easy to understand. The difference in Zeke has been incredible. He’s more obedient, more confident, and honestly a happier dog. The best part is they didn’t just train Zeke—they taught us how to continue the training at home, which has made all the difference. If you’re looking for trainers who genuinely care and know what they’re doing, I can’t recommend Jason and Haley enough. We’re so thankful for everything they did for Zeke!
