Maybe you’re reading this review because you’re a first time dog owner, and not sure where to start. In that case - call Jason. Or maybe, like me, you’ve had dogs your whole life - but find yourself in a crazy life season with a truly special dog, and you just need help. Every trainer I’ve known in the past has worked through their own set programs, or what they call “proven methods.” And I wouldn’t say that these methods never work. But we don’t teach children in “one size fits all” models. So why would we expect that philosophy to work for every dog? What impressed me about Jason was that he took the time to meet me, meet my dog, and learn about our life together. He wanted to know what our days look like and what our goals were for the future. From the very first meeting - the work was individualized, one on one. Jason taught me a lot about dog psychology and communication. He spoke on how different dogs are motivated by different things, just like people. And working with (rather than against) those motivations is what makes the training effective, lasting, and fulfilling for both the dog and the owner. Ultimately, in just 4 weeks, Jason transformed our sweet, goofy family dog into a sweet, (still goofy) but disciplined and focused service animal. When he was at training we received daily updates, photos and videos. Jason treated him like one of his own. We trusted him with our most special pup, and you can trust him too.
