K9 Command

I have taken several classes with Mark & Amy and cannot recommend them enough! I recently got a Belgian Malinois and was looking for trainers who had experience working with the breed and who also could educate me along with the dog. I went with Mark and Amy based on a recommendation from my mom who’s been working with them for the past couple years now with two of her dogs. It’s been nothing but an amazing experience, it’s made me a better dog owner, it’s given me more confidence in handling my dog and grew the bond between me and my dog. It’s incredibly rare to find trainers who genuinely care about you and your dog, and who are willing to work with all different types of breeds and temperaments to help you and your dog achieve your goals. I know that Zara, my dog, has greatly benefited from working with Mark and Amy. And I’ve also seen other dogs who have benefited so much from their expertise. I genuinely trust them with my dog and will continue to go back to them with my current dog, and if I have any new dogs in the future.

I just completed the beginner novice class with our 3 year old German shepherd. We adopted her from a shelter, so I knew very little about her. I quickly figured out she was VERY REACTIVE to other dogs. I was afraid she may not be able to make it through the class due to her behavior, but little by little she showed improvement. After 6 weeks I (and everyone else in the class that witnessed her outbursts) could not believe the transformation in her. We went from her lunging and barking at every dog in the room to her completing her exam and acting as if no other dogs were present. I had no idea a dog could change that much in 6 weeks. I HIGHLY recommend K9 command, put in the work and you will not be disappointed. I look forward to taking another class.

Mark and Amy Connolly at K9Command are awesome dog trainers. They came highly recommended to me by my neighbor and I was very impressed! They are professional dog trainers with actual dog training degrees and decades of experience. We have done puppy head start and group obedience classes with our Doberman and it has been a great experience all around! I highly recommend K9Command if you really want to train your dog! I never thought I would be able to teach my dog to heel or stay and many other things. Their methods work and I’m so glad that we discovered K9Command! We will be starting our next class in January.
