FirstBarkWillow and I really enjoyed the Recall class and learned a great deal. I have tried to work with her at home but being with other dogs and among strangers provide distractions that make learning more realistic.

The dog trainers at K9CA offer more than the typical dog classes. We teach competitive dog obedience, but we also offer companion dog training/activities for the everyday dog lovers! We teach competitive dog sports, dog/puppy manners, loose-leash walking skills, and the most essential: a recall. We have unique classes/events you won’t find anywhere else in the Winston-Salem area, for example: Dog Rodeo, Sniffaris, Barkour. We even have online ZOOM lessons. K9CA doesn’t believe in one-method-fits-all approach. We train YOU to train your dog! The K9CA coaches have decades of training experience to help find the best learning techniques for you and your dog. We also offer private and drop-off training. Come be a part of our team!

I attended a fitness and injury prevention class and it was fantastic! Mary provided individualized guidance, helping me focus on my dog's strengths and areas for improvement. Exercises like rear foot targeting and front foot elevated stands were fun, and Mari, my dog, loved earning treats for her efforts. The class was welcoming and supportive, perfect for dogs of all ages. Younger dogs can develop good posture habits, while older dogs benefit from gentle, strengthening exercises. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to improve their dog's health and well-being!! I will be taking it again.

I have taken my dog to three different classes at K9 coaching Academy and have been very pleased with the things that we have learned. The coaches are very involved and encouraging. The most important thing about dog training is consistency on the trainers part!

I had such a wonderful experience working with this group of trainers. I went in thinking we were just going to get my one year old dog to stop pulling on the leash but ended with a lot of great tools and skills I wasn't expecting. I have more confidence in getting her mind refocused on me. I can now tell my dog to sit and stay without holding her leash with multiple distractions around her and walk away and she stays. The classes were enjoyable and you learned a lot. One of my favorite things was they had their dogs there during the class as well and would demonstrate the skills and talk about their struggles during training. I highly recommend this group to anyone looking for training of any kind. They have so many great options check out the site!
