K371 Dog Training

I have not put my puppies through the training, but I was just at a breaking point with my one puppy with potty training and other concerns. I called Carla on a whim to talk about the 14 day board and train program and she spent 30+ minutes on the phone with me trying to help me before I committed to the program. I can’t thank her enough for taking that time to speak with me. I’m going to implement the changes she suggested and i look forward to the progress my pups can make. I am so grateful for the kind words and advice she gave me. It truly meant so much. Thank you thank you thank you!

So I want to start by saying we have an 8-9 month old female GSD. She is not by any means a typical dog and she’s extremely challenging as far as dog socialization and anxiety goes, including leash walking. She will challenge us out of anxiety and nip at us after corrections. Even after the 3 week board and train, Carla and Andre are insanely quick to help us. They validate any stressors and they are realistic. If a dog needs a modified plan for corrections - they’re on it. While Callie (the GSD) is still on her way to becoming a dog that we can confidently bring into certain situations - Andre and Carla make sure we don’t feel lost on an island alone. Callie will be continuing to do socializing in their back yard even AFTER the 3 week board and train. Callie is very persistent and the fact that Andre and Carla take time (for hours at a time) out of their insanely busy schedule means a whole lot to us! Not to mention they include our other GSD in trainings (he was not trained by them but was previously trained using similar methods) with Callie - without question to get her used to the situations she is in day in and day out.

Andre and Carla are amazing. They’re great, friendly people who really know the psychology of dogs and what training approaches to use based on a specific dog’s personality and behaviors. Our second corgi, Molly, stayed with them for a two week board and train program and came home a completely different dog. Molly is more confident, calmer, and listens to us so much better than before. We made a mistake not using K371 to train our first dog. Andre and Carla gave us great tools and knowledge to keep up the training at home, so we’re confident the improvement will stick. They did a great job caring for Molly while she was with them and we always felt that she was safe and being looked after. They did a great job sharing videos/photos throughout her board and train program to keep us updated on her progress. 10/10 would recommend them to anyone looking for training their dog. We would definitely seek out their tutelage again for any new dogs in our family’s future.

K371 Dog Training is the best! The care given, interactions, and training given, in and out of the house are phenomenal. Our dog entered the program strong willed, determined, and rarely listened, always biting, jumping, and nipping. At the end of the program our Rosie is a well behaved, obedient dog, granted there is continued work we need to do at home in order to maintain these habits, but she is like a new dog. The owners are veterans, very kind, easy going, and awesome to work with. I highly recommend them for your dog training needs!
