K.O. Dog Training

Adopted a full bread 1+ yr Lab from the Anderson Animal Shelter that was in overall good condition but had most likely been seized from a puppy mill based on the lack of socialization and other behaviors. After six months of destressing the Lab and working on social skills I enrolled her in Philip's one on one entry level traning session. Philip did a great job of assessing my dog and understanding what my expectations were. Based on the initial work up Philip worked me and my Lab efficiently through the basics. Since the conclusion of the training I have been able to expose my Lab to ever more challenging socialization skills building in a wide range of public spaces to include controled and safe hiking in the local public forest trails. In just a few weeks Philip helped me bring an uncontrolled rescue Lab to a well behaved social pet that I can maintain control over. Thanks Philip!!

Michelle and Phillip are absolutely the best trainers! And also very amazing people! My husband and I started training our Doberman Husky mix at 3.5 months with KO training, now our pup is 10 months and passed her CGC test this month. Michelle helped us build confidence as dog owners and really teaches you how to connect and understand your puppy/dog. She gave us all of the knowledge and tools to ensure that we were prepared for every stage of raising an obedient and non reactive puppy. We couldn't be more thankful to Philip for doing such an amazing job with our first Bernedoodle, we even brought our second Bernedoodle to him. It is such a pleasure to have these 2 puppies so well trained as part of our family! Philip gave us the tools to make our babies good citizens, and star puppies. We are the envy of the neighborhood. Our 20 month old chihuahua started to develop a few behaviours we were concerned about...specifically leash pulling, and he had become very reactive to other dogs. Also he had started to occasionally growl at us for reasons we couldn't figure out. After our evaluation with Phil and assistant Kiki we knew we were at the right place. Within the first 5 mins of the evaluation Phil recognized the problem and set up goals for performace for Dude (and us). It seems our little dog was the leader of the pack. We needed to fix this and he made sure we knew how to do it and that Dude understood change was underway. The first lesson he focused on that and thanks to his interest and efforts over 6 weeks we have a changed little guy. We began to notice the change by week 3! Many thanks to Phil and Kiki!
