Keep it Simple Stupid (K.I.S.S.) Dog Training provides private, positive reinforcement-based dog training in clients’ homes throughout the Kansas City metro. Owner and sole trainer Mike Deathe, CPDT-KA, has trained professionally since 2008 and founded K.I.S.S. Dog Training in 2010 with the mission “Training Owners, Not Dogs.” Mike helps owners address puppy behavior, manners, leash walking, reactivity, fear, anxiety, aggression and other behavioral concerns where they actually occur. K.I.S.S. does not use prong collars, choke chains or electronic shock collars. Our appointment with them went awesome! Everything in the training went well Mike was awesome and easy going and great to work with. He also showed up with a mask and everything for the covid-19 precautions! All around awesome!!

I live in CA. Never met K.I.S.S. in person. Via internet, asked him how to get my newly rescued-from-the-pound, approximately 8-year-old Husky to bond with me. K.I.S.S. made ONE suggestion and it completely worked!!! He said, Hand feed her everything for one month. I did 28 days. She is totally bonded to me now!
We just completed K.I.S.S. training sessions with our 1 yr old hound mix Baxter and the difference is amazing. We had first tried training him ourselves because it had worked with our prior dogs, but Baxter just wasn't buying into it. So, we called Mike. I'm glad we did. Mike's techniques worked immediately and Baxter is well on his way to being a "good dog." Thanks Mike!
