Keep it Simple Stupid (K.I.S.S.) Dog Training provides private, positive reinforcement-based dog training in clients’ homes throughout the Kansas City metro. Owner and sole trainer Mike Deathe, CPDT-KA, has trained professionally since 2008 and founded K.I.S.S. Dog Training in 2010 with the mission “Training Owners, Not Dogs.” Mike helps owners address puppy behavior, manners, leash walking, reactivity, fear, anxiety, aggression and other behavioral concerns where they actually occur. K.I.S.S. does not use prong collars, choke chains or electronic shock collars. It was for an evaluation of our 7 month old German Shepherd. The owner greeted us at the door, and was very knowledgeable. We learned a lot just from this first visit.
Mike and his team did a great job I would recommend them to any new dog owner who has never had a dog. He is calm and very knowledgeable. He is great with helping my children learn about our new dog.

Angela is very good to work with for scheduling as well. Their communication is effective and organized. I highly recommend Mike and KISS dog training.
I really enjoyed working with Mike with shelter dog training a few years ago. I just read "woah, dog woah". I really enjoyed the quick and easy read for teaching walking on the leash. The steps don't over complicate training and really provide thoughtful information on how to train your pet dog.
