K-9 Defense

We had the BEST experience with K-9 Defense! Savanna was our trainer and she was absolutely amazing with our girls, Cleo and Suki. From the start, we felt like they were in great hands. Their whole demeanor has changed—in the best way. They’re calmer, more confident, and just overall the best girls now! We were really nervous about littermate syndrome, but they did such an incredible job helping each of them build confidence and individuality. The progress they made during the board and train was honestly more than we could’ve hoped for. They stayed in contact with us the entire time (including sending pictures of them!), which made it so much easier being away from them, and Savanna has even continued helping over the phone as we adjust to having them back home. She’s been so supportive and genuinely wants to see them succeed long-term. We’re so happy we found K-9 Defense and will definitely keep working with them to keep building on everything the girls have learned. Can’t recommend them enough!

Our sweet pup completed an impressive 7 weeks board and training program at K9 Defense. She started with a 4 week session, and then we brought her back for an additional 3 weeks about a month later. To say we were sad to drop off our new puppy would be an understatement, especially since she had recently experienced an eye injury. I was nervous that she might not recognize us or that her personality would change, but my husband and I were happily mistaken! She is still the sweetest and happiest puppy, now with much better obedience and listening skills. When we brought her home after the first 4 weeks, she was doing well; however, we had some challenges during walks due to her tendency to be easily distracted by her surroundings and pulling. After chatting with Savannah, she recommended we bring Ivy back for additional training focusing on loose leash walking. Initially, we were hesitant because we selfishly did not want to miss out on three more weeks of her life. However, Ivy (and we) needed that additional training, and the transformation was truly remarkable. We couldn’t be more thrilled with the progress she made during those 3 weeks. Taking her on walks is now an absolute joy! Investing in her training was truly the best decision we could make for her and our family, as the progress she made while away was significant. We are immensely grateful to Savannah for her hard work and dedication to Ivy’s training. Her passion for her work and genuine care for both the dogs and their owners is evident. Every interaction we had with a team member was exceptional—they're all so kind and K9 Defense is truly a fantastic organization. We continue to have regular check-ins, and Ivy is always so happy to see everyone, especially her Savannah!

K9Defense has been absolutely amazing in the training of our Belgian Malinois, Jax. Jax went in to his training with 0 confidence, no drive and barely even wanted to play. We were at a loss on how to help him through it but K9Defense did absolutely amazing with his training and we could not be more thankful. Huge shout out to, Savanna! You were incredible! We appreciate your work with Jax, helping us transition him home and teaching us how to communicate with him. Thank you to the whole team as well! We are excited to see where Jax goes from here!

We can’t say enough great things about K-9 Defense! When we brought our two Dobermans in, they were lacking confidence, and we were struggling to truly communicate with them.
