K-9 Defense

Chris and the team are total pros. In addition to the core line of business training dogs to keep Anerica safe, they create amazing family dogs. Savannah coached our Cleo to be a safe, loyal, and protective member of our big family. We have young kids, frequent guests, and visitors. Cleo excels in all her paces thanks to K9’s training. Best of all Cleo is always a part of the K9 family so she can go back for refreshers and board when we travel.

UPDATE! 3/27/2026 We are approaching 2 years in with K9 defense. Our weekly training is always great as I continue to be the best handler I can with Rio. We have now had quite a bit of training with Mallory. We love her. She has helped me grasp the concepts that have been hard for me. As always George, Chris, and Wes have been instrumental on making sure is performing at his best. I can always count on Aubrie to take care of Rio in anyway I. She always fills him with love prior to training, and makes sure be has everything he needs. I still feel such a part of a larger family. Rio and i will continue to grow and thrive at K9 Defense. Thank you! Below is a review from when I first went to K-9 Defense. Since that day I had been in contact with Chris, at least every couple of months. I’m not exactly when I had made that post, however, since the first meeting much had changed in my life. I still have the same exact rating and feeling towards K9 Defense. At this point I feel we have all become a family. In July 2024, I purchased an amazing Belgian Malinois from them, Rio. The training has not stopped since day 1. Believe me, no question to them is dumb, otherwise I’m sure I would’ve been blocked back in July. My dog is perfection or as close as it gets. If Rio makes a mistake I quickly text to find out what I’m doing wrong as his extensive training is above and beyond, and I’m still a work in progress. We train weekly with the staff of K9 Defense and have never looked back. The extensive knowledge they have about their dogs, training, personal protection is mind boggling. I’m grateful to have become a part of a very knowledgeable caring family! Thank you for allowing me to have Rio in my life. I know he will protect me at all costs! Update-The whole team after close to 2 years, never disappoints. I can always count on Aubrie to come and see Rio immediately. He and I have come a long ways. We are also now working with Mallory. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! From the initial meet, drop off, duration of training & the one on one training sessions we had as owners, we couldn’t be more impressed. Our pup had some behaviors issues we needed fixed & didn’t know how to do so ourselves, needless to say our trainer did that & MORE; we are so thankful for our trainer Savanna H! This company has the best trainers out there for sure. Could not recommend them more!

The best experience ever! Chris set me up with the most amazing Belgian Malinois, Tommie. Savanna has trained me with Tommie with the sweetest heart and patience, she’s made sure everything needed or requested has happened with great care and efficiency. Savanna Continuously checks up on Tommie and I, she delivers the amazing raw food for Tommie and he loves to see her when she comes. Thank you for everything you have done and do! Truly couldn’t have been a better transition for Tommie to join my family! Definitely will get my next Belgian from K-9 Defense!

Hands down the best training in the valley! Well worth the investment! We took our 8 week old puppy in for 6 week foundation building. What we got back far exceeded our expectations! We received weekly updates and progress reports every step of the way! The pickup transition was a breeze… Wes, Savannah, Dan, and George all had excellent advice and answered or uneducated questions in words we could understand and implement! Highly recommend the dedicated team at K-9 Defense for any family’s seeking a life long obedient and protective companion!
