K-9 Defense

We recently completed a 6 week training course for our English Chocolate Lab Norman (~6months). We thought that we had met "dog trainers" in the past but quickly learned the difference between dog walkers and serious trainers. This company is experienced in the training of police and military dogs. On our initial visit, we observed a demonstration by a trainer and his personal dog which was frankly astounding. The level of interaction and understanding on the part of the animal was breath-taking. I didn't think it possible but after six weeks we received Norman back with a similar combination of manners and obedience. Norman was only 7 months old and when he returned his cheerful puppy disposition continued to shine through. He was polished but not broken. Dan, Normans principal trainer and new best friend, has made several home visits since his graduation. These visits are intended to reinforce his training and help to insure continued success. While this program carries a significant price tag, it is worth every penny!!! The benefit that Norman received from his time at K9 Defense will last a lifetime. This was more than just a visit to a trainer. This was the beginning of a relationship. Norman will definitely visit again from time to time and there is no doubt at all that we will use K9 Defense when we add another lab to our family. You can be confident that this organization delivers what they promise.

It’s impossible to say my appreciation for everyone that works here. We got our dog as a return to breeder and she needed some structure and training to catch up with her age. Savanna got this pup on the right track and helped us as owners to establish how to properly work with a dog. The team at K-9 Defense is unmatched in performance and has amazing outcomes. If you’re looking to get your dog trained or want a serious pup in your house, this is definitely the place to go.

I should have left a review last year but life got busy. I have a cane corso , and in the past , she has been very aggressive towards other animals. Lack of socializing on my part do losing my wife. This was our dog. I did get her trained late in life So it has been a process. She is a lot better but due to old age and late training I still have to watch her. She is 100% better. I understand when people call and they ask for prices and the price seems a little high. It's because these people know what they're doing. This is not petsmart training!! I have been able to walk her around the neighborhood without her trying to literally destroy other dogs. We have a better life together because of these trainers. You can always go cheaper, but you will always get what you get and pay for. So don't be mad When your results aren't what you expect when you Go with cheaper and less experienced trainer's. Higher based on experience and a proven track record! These people are top notch trainer's and by the time you see what they do with your dog , you will understand what i'm saying! If I ever do decide to get another dog, I will bring Her or him in at a younger age. Thank you guy's!!!!
