Jezzie Paws Dog Training

We highly recommend Jess and Jezzie paws dog training! We have been attending weekly with our puppy Winnie since April, and our puppy is thriving. Winnie is an adorable Bernese Mountain puppy- lots of energy, silly and STRONG. Since starting, we have seen so much growth in the last 2 months -we couldn’t be happier! We have an American Akita, which require advanced training. Jess has done an absolutely amazing job. People can’t believe how calm and well-trained our dog is for a 5-month old. She already knows the same number of commands as most 1-year old pups. Jess has an impressive understanding of dogs and individualizes the training. Her feedback is straightforward and has allowed our dog to learn incredibly fast. She doesn’t use fear-based tactics, so our dog has bonded with us even more through training.

Jess is an amazing dog trainer, in just 4 weeks we’ve learned the most helpful commands. Our puppy has done a complete 180 in listening to our commands and enjoying life! She was a scared little rescue pup that would shake and growl, in those 4 weeks of training and bringing her to daycare at WooWoo’s she’s blossomed into a more confident dog. Jess is always on top of correction if I’m doing something wrong and always available for questions. I’ve used a few other dog trainers in the past with different dogs and Jess is the best trainer I’ve worked with. She truly cares about you and the dog’s succeeding rather than just viewing you as a number.

My dog Buzz has been doing private training lessons with Jess every other week for almost a year now and he has come such a long way since he started! Jess is patient with not only your dog but also you as you both learn how to do certain commands and trust each other. Any questions I have during training, Jess always answers and gives examples if they’re needed and takes as much time as needed during a session to get a new topic down.

Great puppy training classes! We have an olde english bulldog puppy (6 months) and have never done training before with any of our dogs. Can’t say enough good things about Jess and Jezzie Paws. Not only is our guy learning so much each week but he’s making friends :) Jess is just the right amount of firm and even though the classes can have 5-6 dogs, she takes the time to make sure everyone gets their individual questions answered and she makes sure any lesson she teaches is completely understood by everyone before we dive in. We recently completed the puppy course for 6 weeks and now we’re back for more! Our guy is learning all the basics and even though he’s stubborn, Jess gives us the tools (and tricks) needed to keep correcting his behaviors at home. That is a key part of training though (obviously)! it’s what you put into your pup’s training after the 1x a week classes. You have to put in the work at home! We’ve seen a huge difference already and are so happy with the training we’ve received so far. Thank you, Jess and the entire squad at Jezzie Paws!
