When I rescued my dog, Carl, and he began showing new and challenging behaviors, I was at a loss for how to handle it and felt hopeless. Jonathan went above and beyond for Carl & I and not only helped him, but helped me to understand and communicate better. Jonathan understands dogs inside & out and was always available if I had a question or concern. He went out of his way on many occasions to our rescue and has changed Carl & I’s life together. I could not recommend him enough!

Jon was absolutely phenomenal and I would recommend him to anyone that needs help with training their dog. Jon’s training was excellent and taught my puppy numerous things that he will use for the rest of his life. Some examples are how to interact around other animals, how to greet new people and the best was potty training! I owe Jon because he turned my puppy into a well behaved friendly ball of fur!!

After extensive searching for a trustworthy dog trainer/sitter, we found Jonathan at JDP Dogtraining who is very kind, reliable, and highly trained. In short notice, he accepted my two big girls (Luna + Isla) for training and boarding. Luna, who is a young bloodhound full of energy, was instantly a better walker on leash after a few days which Jonathan discussed he would train with her. We have been implementing his tactics at home and are seeing a big improvement with Luna. Jonathan is personable and an easy text or phone call away. His prices are fair, which is hard to come by these days. I have a trip planned for the New Year and Jonathan has already agreed to watch my girls again. If you are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable dog training/sitter, Jonathan is your guy! I highly recommend him.
