Jaybird Dog Training

We recently had our husky (Chief)stay for a week of training, and we couldn't be happier with the results. From the very beginning, it was clear that he genuinely cares about dogs and takes the time to understand each dog's individual needs and personality. Our husky came home more responsive, better behaved, and with improved obedience skills that have made a noticeable difference in our daily routine. He kept us updated throughout the training process and provided helpful guidance so we could continue reinforcing what our dog learned at home. The patience, knowledge, and dedication he showed throughout the week were truly impressive. We are incredibly grateful for the work he put into helping our husky become a more confident and well-mannered dog. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trainer who genuinely cares about both dogs and their owners.

Can’t believe the difference Shea made with our Irish setter Onyx! Before we brought Onyx to see Shea he was impossible to walk or to even calm during outings. With Shea’s expertise and training not only our dog but also walking us through his extensive walking training and commands we now have a dog that we can enjoy walking and feel very confident doing so. Onyx only spent one week with Shea and he is a completely different dog! We can’t thank you enough! Shea also communicated with us daily during the training process and sent videos that explained his process. He also has made himself available if more training is needed or if we have questions. He also gave us information about other training techniques that are needed. We can’t thank you enough for helping us achieve an enjoyable dog!

Best money I could have spent. I brought my dog Wrigley to Shea for aggression/reactivity toward other dogs on walks. He was honest in the consultation, laid out everything I could expect to happen once I dropped him off for board & train, and then followed through on everything. In a short time, Wrigley now has control of his emotions/reactions when he sees things out and about that he doesn’t like and I can finally walk him on my neighborhood trail anxiety-free. Shea not only provided me with simple instructions that made the training Wrigley received easy to continue on my own, he provided the tools for me to follow through. Will absolutely consider bringing him back for training in other areas and would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone who’s looking for help of their own.

Amazing transformation! We brought our golden doodle to Shea for a 1 month board and train while we were traveling. She is a happy, friendly dog but resisted previous training and was a handful to deal with compared to any previous dogs we have owned. We picked her up 3 days ago and cannot believe the difference in her. She is still happy, but now she listens. Off leash walks, no more launching herself onto the counters to take items, comes when called - Unbelievable! We wish we had known about Shea sooner. He did a wonderful job training our dog and we highly recommend him.
