Jared brought out the best in my dog. I sent my dog Timber for boarding and training. He took a insecure, reactive husky and gave him the confidence to control his emotions and become an upstanding citizen that I can trust to walk down the street without pulling my arm off and acting a fool among many other things. I highly recommend him for anyone in need of training and his lovely wife over at The Velvet Dog to send home a clean, well adjusted doggo and to also teach me how to help my dog to continue down the right path of behavior.

River has come SUCH a long way after his 8 weeks of training 🙌🐾 He barely barks anymore and doesn’t pull like he used to — we’re still working with him every day, but the progress has been amazing. We honestly couldn’t have taken him on our recent vacation without this training. 13+ hours in the car (with just quick stops for gas and potty 😅) and he did SO good. He handled pet areas with other dogs and tons of people like a champ. We even took him on a busy bike path by a creek — geese, wildlife, bikes, dogs, rollerblades, people fishing… all of it — and he only needed a few reminders. We are beyond grateful for everything you’ve done. This has truly made a huge difference in our lives and River’s. Highly, highly recommend!
