We feel very lucky to have worked with Janice for the past few months. She helped us understand what is going on for our adopted pup who was experiencing extreme separation anxiety from my husband. Janice showed us, step-by-step, how we can help settle our pup move away from that anxiety. All three of us learned a lot from Janice! I worked with Janice for 18 weeks to help my dog overcome his separation anxiety. I was in a low feeling place when we finally made the jump to try this separation anxiety training out but I am so grateful that we did. Janice was extremely supportive throughout the process, knowledgeable, and was always willing to look into other dog training questions I had along the way, sending me to some other great resources. Supporting your dog in finding more peace in being alone is no small task, but i'm so happy to have had Janice as the trainer! AND it's so freaking worth it to get your life back, and not have to see your furry pal get so stressed out!

We adopted a 3 year old rescue dog with a checkered past and learned that he had some quirks and a high level of reactivity toward other dogs. Training online with Janice helped us right away with some foundational skills like "touch", "find it", "go to mat", and "down". She gave us written weekly summaries and a check list of homework assignments that made our tasks clear. Bosco made incredible progress in 3 short weeks with all of these things, we also now have a secret word for emergency recall needs that brings him running. By our 3rd lesson, my dog got excited to see the computer getting set up and hearing Janice on the screen because he knew we'd be playing some training games (with treats!). Petey did a fine job of demonstrating proper dog behavior for us too! I highly recommend Janice Z. for personalized and effective dog training.

Janice began helping us when our puppy Teddy Bear was eight weeks old. He was very active and no training. We have learned from Janice how we need to establish the right way to train and manage our puppy. Our puppy can now sit, stay, lie down, ring bell to go out, knows his 'place', and comes running from anywhere with the 'magic' word. We can't believe how far he has come (and us too). Janice is AMAZING!
