Jamies’ dedication, care and expertise with dogs is so valuable. Literally the second she walks in the door she gains the response and continued attention of the dog and also its owners. She values every minute during her session’s teaching us ,as owners, how to respond and overcome behaviors. If you have children she leaves a booklet of support and learned behaviors for them as well as they grow up with their pets. I would Highly recommend her training and support to anyone!

I tried the “consequence” method of training my dog. One person said to get a pinch collar; another person said to get a shock collar, and still another said get a bark collar. All those methods were making his negative, unwanted behaviors escalate. Eventually he started randomly and aggressively attacking other animals for no apparent reason. All these methods did was stress my dog to the point of almost no return. That’s when I learned of Jamie’s Dog Training. Let me just start with… She SAVED my dog. We talked in depth about my previous disciple with him and she came up with a behavior plan, … for me! I needed to change the way I approach my dog’s behaviors. She came to my house to work in his environment. She explained exactly what all those negative messages were telling him and why I needed to change them ~ get him to trust in me and reward the positives. The first time she spent 3 hours with us and then gave us homework. It was hard work, and we did make progress. However, I wanted her to come one more time to help iron out some problems we were still having. Jamie was/is always available to talk, text, video conference, anything really. I still ask her questions and she still asks about my dog. As my husband often says now, “Wow, I can’t believe how good he is. It’s like he’s a new dog.” Yes he is thanks to Jamie! She saved me and my dog. When my son wanted to get a puppy, I sent him to her ASAP. His puppy is the best of the bunch.

Jamie was phenomenal in helping introduce our puppy into her new home and most importantly to our senior dog who was less than thrilled to have a little sister. It was a rough couple of months and Jamie helped us through all of it. She was very responsive to texts and provided feedback on videos of the dogs interacting with each other. She came to our home and spent lots of time training the dogs and us :). Her positive training techniques were so helpful, and they work! We learned so much about how dogs interact and respond to each other and how they respond to their human’s emotional state. We highly recommend Jamie and would hire her again in a heartbeat.
