Jamie helped me with my dog Seger and her wisdom was without a doubt game changing for him and for me. Seger has separation anxiety and noise sensitivity. I was blown away with all her knowledge and techniques to help me help Seger! If you are in need of help with your dog I cant highly recommend Jamie enough, you will be forever grateful for it! She's compassionate, kind, gentle, wise and great at getting you all the info and technique you'll need to train, help and put your pet and yourself at ease!

Jamie is an excellent trainer and teacher for canine behavior. She has been assisting me remotely since we got a new Australian Shepherd puppy 2 weeks ago. We live three states away but have experienced in-person training with her through interactions with our sweet older Australian Shepherd, Dallas, who adored her. We learned so much from her working with Dallas so she was quick to team up and ensure our new puppy is trained from the start to prevent behavior issues. Our Dallas was so smart and quick to learn, but he had intense noise sensitivity. In cases like his, Jamie will assess and help you work cooperatively with your vet, if needed, to best assist a dog with more serious anxieties. She taught Dallas at every opportunity and he was the best gentleman in her presence. For our new pup, she’s guided me regarding potty training to great success in just two weeks. Without her in-person on site, I’ve been able to work on crate training and response behaviors like sit, stay, 1-2-3 and treat party to redirect his attention from environmental distractions. As she will remind you, it takes consistent effort and patience to train a dog, but if you understand what motivates them to think rather than react, you have greater opportunities to develop a loving and well suited companion. If you are fortunate to have onsite access to her, you’ll get the added benefit of watching her demo these training methods with your dog while observing immediate responses in their behaviors. Jamie’s approach to training is to teach you how your puppy learns and thinks and she gives you tools, resources and demos of ways you can help engage your dog’s learning of what he (or she) is supposed to do. I highly recommend her for new puppy training and for corrective training for dogs that need help unlearning negative or reactive behaviors, regardless of age. You will find once you understand your dogs behavior, you will have more patience and skill to mold them into your best friend forever. She is by any measure the very best in her field and well deserving of that acknowledgement in northern Indiana! Thank you Jamie for loving our dogs as much as we do.💙
