Myrtle has gained her confidence back, enjoys her walks, and is more independent. Myrtle has since gone back for boarding and looking forward to future visits back!

I have a 6 month old American Bully Dog and would like help training her, can you help?

Samantha is an amazing trainer! She was so sweet and patient with us as we were working with our goldendoodle Rio. She helped us work on his resource guarding, which was beginning to be a major problem, and her tips were honestly very helpful. Casey is the best trainer I could have asked for and I cannot express how immensely grateful I am for the incredible work she has done. She is friendly, professional, supportive, and extremely knowledgeable. From the very first session, it was clear that Casey possesses a deep understanding of canine behavior and a genuine passion for helping dogs and their owners. My dog immediately warmed up to her, although he does not enjoy interacting with people. She knew exactly how to interact with him in a way that made him feel comfortable and how to read his behaviors, showing incredible patience and dedication throughout the process. She noticed extremely subtle details in his behavior and addressed them so I was aware when they occurred, what they meant and what he needed as a result. Her attention to detail is superb. She truly went above and beyond to support us, even such as providing specifics about how to properly set the scene in my apartment / the venue for our session for my dog so that we were able to get the most out of it. She was always available to answer questions and provide guidance, ensuring that I felt supported every step of the way. I wholeheartedly recommend Casey to anyone in need of a skilled and compassionate dog trainer. We've been bringing our dog to Instinct for boarding for a few years - he's a sensitive boy with bite history - and we trust the team at Instinct to take good care of him. We love the Camper updates when we're away, too! Attached is a favorite from one of those updates. We also got some great training from home with them! We're in Brooklyn so getting to Harlem for training was not really an option. Our boy is also territorial and bringing trainers into our home has not gone great. Working with Sam over video chat was super helpful - she gave us great activities and strategies to curb his anxieties and trigger points in the home. It's been a few months now and we're still regularly following many of these practices to great success! Thanks so much, Instinct team!
