My husband and I rescued a SATO puppy and received such incredible training help through instinct’s at home training program with Megan C. Megan helped our puppy and us with basic training principles through positive reinforcement that are the building blocks to a happy, healthy and well-mannered future for our pup. Megan is extremely experienced, patient, and respectful and went above and beyond to answer our questions about our new puppy while giving us timely updates and helpful information throughout the training process; most importantly, Leo loves her! I cannot say enough good things about this place — it is 100% worth the investment. My dog Kona is 9 years old. Several years ago, she was attacked by another dog, and over time, her fear turned into aggression. Unfortunately, it got to the point where she had a bite history. Living in NYC, where there are dogs everywhere, walking her became nearly impossible, and I couldn’t leave her with anyone. Both of our lives had become extremely limited. At one point, I even considered rehoming her — and worse, thought about what might happen if her aggression escalated. But I wasn’t ready to give up. I scraped together enough money to enroll her in the 3-week camp. Rebecca was Kona’s trainer, and her dedication was nothing short of incredible. She quickly realized that Kona wasn’t mean — she was just scared and very shy. Rebecca worked patiently with her, helping her become more confident. By the end of camp, Kona was walking almost side by side with another dog — something I never thought possible. Rebecca was honest and realistic: Kona still has progress to make, but the change I’ve seen since bringing her home has been amazing. She’s calmer, she listens better, and while she’s still not thrilled to be around other dogs, she can tolerate them now. She’s basically a coastal grandmother who doesn’t like loud noises and just wants her space — and honestly, I respect that. If you’re feeling hopeless but still love your dog and are looking for real solutions, this is the best place. Even if you can’t afford the full 3 weeks, try a 1-week program. These people love dogs and believe in every single one of them. Plus, they gave Kona a plushie as a graduation gift — and she absolutely loves it. 🐾
