I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Innovative K9. Jake trained both of my dogs, and the results have been incredible. From the start, he was professional, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what he does. He took the time to understand each dog’s personality and tailored the training to fit their specific needs. The difference in their behavior, obedience, and overall confidence is night and day. Not only are they better listeners, but they’re also happier and more well-balanced dogs. What I appreciated most was how Jake kept me involved throughout the process, making sure I understood how to reinforce the training at home. It didn’t feel like he was just training my dogs—he was teaching me how to be a better owner too. If you’re looking for a trainer who actually delivers real results, I highly recommend Innovative K9 and Jake. Totally worth it.

I can’t say enough good things about Innovative K9. We have a sweet rescue weimaraner that was very stubborn and had little to no training. She is super sweet and took immediately to David and Joseph. We paid extra to have her stay in David’s home which gave us piece of mind for the 18 days. Joseph was her trainer and he was so sweet and kind with her. He sent videos daily and I was so impressed how quickly she learned. I highly recommend Joseph and innovative K9 to train your dog! It’s expensive but worth every penny!

I brought a very reactive, scared, and hyper puppy to Innovative. I was so anxious to leave her for so long but after talking with the owner he convinced me this was the right thing to do for Millie. I had made her this way and I needed professional help, she deserved it. She has one eye so I wanted the best outcome for her. Joe, Millie's trainer was amazing. He was patient, kind, attentive, and loving to Millie as if it was his own puppy. I brought them a damaged girl and what i got was an amazing transformation in such a short amount of time. She is calmer, she listens, she obeys, she is not reactive at all, she is not scared of loud sounds anymore, she isn't afraid of children. I am so happy with Joe and the training that Millie received from him. I would not hesitate to board her again. Thank you so much Joe. I know Millie misses you and mere words cannot express the gratitude in my heart for your expertise and love you showed her. Thank you so much.

Our experience with Innovative K9 Academy was a definite rescue for Sterling our 3 yr old from a shelter in St Louis! 7 mo, no interaction or socialization with other dogs! He was in fl/ fight mode! From my first introductory conversation with owner, David, to meeting everyone when we took Sterling to board and train, we felt relieved and certain Sterling was in quality care. Joseph became Sterlings primary trainer. His calm strength and demeaned Sterling to decompress his entire nervous system and begin to trust and feel confident. Joseph sent us training videos daily to help provide us with the tools we needed along the way. Because training the dog is only half the equation. Joseph also met with us at our house recently for a refresher course! Above and beyond! I could see the love and respect between Sterling and Joseph that had developed. Which gave me a sense of safety and appreciation for his commitment. I feel extra satisfied to have continued access to board Sterling. We highly recommend Innovative K9 Academy!
