Innovative K9 Academy completely transformed our lives. We hit a total breaking point with our Mini Aussie puppy, Piglet. Despite five months of dedicated positive-reinforcement classes and hours spent training per day, she was a nightmare on the leash, barked constantly, and only listened if a treat was involved. We were exhausted and desperate when I found Innovative K9. David called me immediately, spent an hour answering my questions, and put our minds at ease about their methods. We enrolled Piglet in the 18-day boot camp. Her trainer, Ty, was phenomenal! He spent over a hour talking to us at drop off and sent daily photo and video updates. We were terrified the training might change her personality, but she came back just as sweet as ever—just MUCH better behaved! Two months out, she now has 100% off-leash recall, heels very well, and goes to the office with my husband every day. We’re able to take her most places with us, but she is well-behaved when left home in her play pen. We also love their "board and refresh" travel option and the group park classes. I learned about Innovative K9 from a friend after seeing how her puppy behaved. I was hesitant about getting a new dog because I didn't know how to train them properly, but my friend had my dream dog. A year later, we had a new puppy. We signed him up immediately. At 4 months, he went for a week and learned some great skills and built a relationship with the trainers, especially Jake. We were sent a daily video that showed us how to do the things they taught our puppy when, and how to keep our puppy from developing bad habits. At 5 months our puppy went back for 18 days to learn more advanced skills. We again were sent daily video that helped us learn the techniques they were training. When we went to pick our puppy up, I was amazed! Our puppy looked like a whole different dog! Now that our dog is home, we are still practicing the new skills at home so he doesn't resort back to his crazy puppy days. I learned how to maintain and properly train new skills. It was not only a confidence builder for my dog, it was also for me. I know how to teach him and to understand his signs that he's showing us. We now have lifelong support! I will be taking my other children to their continued training so they can understand. I highly recommend their training services! It was the best decision we have made! It is well worth every penny!

We had our caucasion ovcharka Yogi join the 18 day dream dog boot camp and Joseph, his trainer completely turned Yogi from a dog whom would only listen to commands when he felt like into a dog who is waiting for a command. No more barking at random stuff, no more chasing other dogs, and now I feel like I can trust my dog to listen to me when I really need him to behave at home or in public. I cannot say enough praise with Innovative K9 and especially Joseph, well done!!!

I had a lot of anxiety about sending my dogs away for a few weeks, but that changed immediately after the first video Jake sent. He was so patient and kind to my dogs while they were getting adjusted to the new environment. The daily updates were amazing, not only did I get to see my dogs, but I also understood how they were improving and what they were working on. It was clear how much Jake truly cares. When we picked them up, he spent so much time with us making sure we felt confident moving forward. He was incredibly patient, kind, and thorough with all of our questions. I’m so grateful we found Innovative K9 and that our dogs were in Jake’s care. I can’t recommend him and thus company enough!

We were very excited to get a Corso puppy. We did the puppy to adult program. It was great !! Our trainer Jake was great for our girl. The hardest part is on our end . We are a very busy family and we are not perfect at using the commands all the time . But she knows them and it might take a few times to get her back into the habit with some of them, but she knows and responds even after we have been lazy about them . I liked working with our trainer Jake he was patient and helpful. We just didn’t have the time to do the main work and it was worth having someone that knew what they were doing to get the bulk of the work done for us so that we could just maintain it at home.
