Indy K-9

Jon did a great job of training our pup and keeping us in the loop during the two weeks of training. While we’ve only been back with our pup for a little bit, there is a significant improvement on his behavior and his puppy tendencies. When we picked up our puppy, Jon also took two hours to go over the training that he did and taught us how to apply those methods as well. Definitely would recommend Jon to anyone in need of puppy training.

Words can not describe how thankful I am to have found Indy K9!! I have a 4 year old Chow/Husky mix named Blizzard that is extremely dog reactive. It had gotten to the point where if we saw a dog even blocks away he would go crazy and with him being 55 pounds he was difficult to control. I remember when I wrote to contact Jon I was desperate for help. Living in an apartment walks with Blizzard were stressful, frustrating and overall draining as it's impossible to avoid dogs. I would literally find myself trying to hide behind cars/trees/buildings, etc. trying to avoid them. I then sent Blizzard to stay with Jon for the two weeks training. Jon was great at staying in communication throughout the two weeks and sent plenty of updates, photos and videos of how the training was going. Although it was hard to be away from him for so long I knew Blizzard was in great hands! Now that the training has been completed our lives have completely changed. Walks with Blizzard are no longer something I dread - they are enjoyable!!! Jon was not only able to teach him manners (sit/stay/down/heel), but we are now able to pass by dogs with no problem! Instead of seeing a dog a block a way and turning around or trying to hide, I am able to confidently keep walking our path! I never thought this would be possible and am still so impressed every time we pass a dog and Blizzard doesn't go crazy! Choosing Indy K9 was the best decision I have ever made and would highly recommend him to anyone needing help with their pup!!

Hi! I was a very protective, worried dog owner who was not sure about our puppy being away from home for so long. 😂 I was so surprised the first day to see how much fun Snoopy was having when he arrived and how comfortable he was right away with Jon. He slept really well too, even though he was used to sleeping with us. And he learned so much. Don’t worry as much as I did!! Now that Snoopy can walk without getting distracted, my husband said, “It’s kind of fun to have a dog that stays by your side versus screaming NO NO NO” Jon teaches the fundamentals and undoes bad habits, and then it’s just on you to keep it up. We had such a great experience with Jon's work through Indy K-9 for both our Dogo Argentino puppy who is deaf and our Boxer who is 4 years old. The level of communication that Jon kept with our family during the training reiterated how much he cares and how he understands our family is just as invested as he is. For our puppy, Jon truly took time for him to help him understand commands and taught him to watch for signals. When we picked our puppy up, our life at home was truly easier and now a joy with our puppy! He gained confidence from learning and we are so thankful that this is the start of letting our pup 'live his best life' thanks 100% to Jon's work! We are SO happy with our decision to go with Jon. We also took our 4 y/o boxer to Jon. Our boxer needed a brush up on commands and listening, especially when we introduced our puppy. We continued to be thrilled with our boxer's attention to us and level of skill he obtained due to Jon! I guess you can actually teach and old dog new tricks!
