Indy K-9

Jon had my English Bulldog puppy, Diesel, for the 4week program. Our biggest issue with Diesel was that he was jumping on people, the couch, the door, etc. and he wouldn’t listen to us when we said no. Through the 4 weeks, I was able to talk to Jon and ask questions about how my little boy was doing in “school” and he was always quick to respond and sent me updates regularly. On the day I brought him back home (the day before writing this), the changes I saw in him were astounding! It’s going to take a little time for me to get used to all of his new knowledge, but he listens and is attentive when we are together. I can already tell that my Diesel and I are going to make an even stronger team now that we’ve gone through this training.

John did great job with our German Shepherd. He is very attentive and genuinely cares for your pet! His program and goal is to establish a solid foundation of commands and behavior controls that you then learn and practice daily thereafter. Training a dog properly is a team effort between the trainer and owner, and John even continues to follow up and monitor with you to ensure your pet is continuing to adapt with you at home. Worth the time and money.

Jon is a wonderful trainer! At the end of the four weeks he took time to inform me on everything I needed to know to continue our dogs training at home! He was kind and informative and made everything easier on us! Our dog was a completely different dog when we got him back, still unsure this is the same dog we sent with him! Our baby is so well behaved now and I can’t thank him enough for everything he did for us! Plus he sent us the cutest pictures and videos while Zulu was with him🥰

As a first time dog owner (besides growing up when my parents handled all the hard stuff), I bought all the books and read up on how to best train a puppy. We ended up getting a stubborn large breed Great Pyrenees and she broke us in the first two weeks. We started letting her sleep in our bed just so we could get more than a couple hours sleep at a time. We knew it was wrong but for our own sanity we did it anyway. We found Indy K-9 and made the tough decision to send that cute girl off for 2 weeks. Best decision we’ve made. She came back leash and crate trained. Didn’t jump up on people (even to play) and MUCH more obedient. We will continue sending her back for a weekend here and there as when she’s there Jon snaps her back in shape quick and she forgets the bad habits us first time owners let slide. Highly recommend!
