Imprinted Paws

Highly recommend Val and her staff at Imprinted Paws. These folks know and love dogs. It's evident in everything you see them do and how they communicate with the dog, and moreover, with their human counterparts. I previously brought my Jack Russell Terrier several years ago for a private training lesson with the owner of this company and within 2 hours she had identified the right training methods and regimen for me to follow on our own time and it worked flawlessly! She followed up with me several times over the course of the next few weeks/months to see if I needed any additional assistance (which I did not). Fast forward to current and I adopted a pitbull with zero life history information as is common with abandoned dogs. When I brought him into the home, he had trouble socializing, focusing on commands, housebreaking, etc - but he seemed really eager to learn and you could tell he was very intelligent. My first thought was to have Imprinted Paws evaluate him by the experts. I did the 2 week board and train, and I was shocked (pleasantly) with the level of improvement in his temperament and responsiveness to training. Upon pickup, staff spent over an hour walking me through everything he learned and really what education *I* required to make his life more fulfilling and successful. I was thinking it would be 10-20 min but they really went through it with detail so I was clear on how to train this new dog. The staff showed me all the ins and outs of the dogs personality that I didn't even realize and they had learned working with him. This was money well spent and I couldn't be happier with the results. I am excited to continue training sessions with my pitbull and Imprinted Paws so both he and I can have the best life. I would hands down recommend Val and her staff at Imprinted Paws for anyone who asks for training recommendations. These folks know their stuff and are miracle workers!

Valerie and Kelsey at Imprinted Paws are amazing!!! We adopted our rescue pup Cash and needed some help training him. Within 4 short weeks(1 session per week) we were able to get him to stop nipping, walk better on a leash, learn place, stop jumping at people when they enter, and learn recall!!! Its amazing and what they were able to help us do!!! I highly recommend Imprinted Paws for training you pup!!!
