Impetus Animal Training

Teddy Bear, my puppy, and I LOVE Impetus Animal Training! We just completed Puppy Kindergarten, and are already enrolled in Pup Stars. Teddy also goes to Puppy Playtime, which he just ADORES. The classes and the play time are excellently run -- the pups get lots of instruction and play time in a very safe and loving manner. The safety aspect is really important for little dogs, which Teddy Bear is. Best ever!!!

Milo Gene graduated from his behavior training. It is never easy to hear from someone that your puppy has some behavior issues and you need to get help for them. Milo is a very kind loving puppy and you would never know when you are around him that he suffers from major anxiety in certain situations, but he does. About 2 months ago we were told to get him help by our wonderful, supportive vet, so we did. We took him to ImPETus on the south side of Las Vegas, which is a 45 minute drive for us, and it was TOTALLY worth it. I can't believe the change in him and the confidence he has built up. Veronica was awesome and so supportive of his and my needs. Is he 100% better, no, but I am confident in the training and the support from the ImPETus trainers that Milo, and Willow, will be so much better for having gone and continuing their journey with them. Today, he had his vet appointment with Dr. Silver and it was AMAZING. He pulled the tech into the building, sat on the scale by himself, got a basic examination, and vaccinations. He did all of this without growling, snarling, lunging, and trying to escape. They did not have to clear the room, like before, and he remained calm. Was he still anxious, YES, but not nearly as bad as he was 2 months ago. I am such a PROUD puppy mommy. I 100% recommend ImPETus animal training for any type of dog training. I learned so much on how to be a better puppy mommy from them.

A truly wonderful place for training. We were very fortunate to discover Impetus shortly after bringing home our puppy, Charlie. We're quite certain he feels the same way. We had the pleasure of working with Veronica and Vivian for puppy kindergarten, who provided a warm, welcoming environment for not only Charlie, but myself and young children. They were patient, understanding and very knowledgeable. On a couple of occasions we've had the pleasure of dropping in for puppy play time (a Charlie favorite). The set up is clean, well supervised and a great way for pups to meet new friends and exert energy. Our most recent experience has been one on one training with Vivian. Getting out if the car each time Charlie can't wait to say hi to Vivian. Her expertise is obvious as we've seen great improvement in his overall behaviors; walking, dropping, leaving unwarranted items, middle, sit stay. It has been an amazing progression that would not be possible without their assistance and guidance. The daily session notes and videos are a great added benefit to help us with our continued training at home. Suffice to say we're beyond pleased with our experiences at Impetus Animal Training and highly recommend them for your dog training needs.
