Idyllic Canine Training

I would recommend Megan with Idyllic Training 100 times over. Our dog scout was a shelter pup who struggled with big emotions - jumping, biting, reactivity to animals and people. Overall, we had a lack of control and could not enjoy doing things with her. After having scout back from her board and train program we can let her be herself. She is off leash trained and she has expectations on how to approach certain situations. We are all so thankful!

I never had any experience with dog trainers, however the day i met Megan from Idyllic Canine Training, I knew I found the best. During our initial consultation while watching my 2 dogs Shadow and Bubba, she informed me what I thought was playing, was actually them fighting for domination of territory. I felt comfortable and trusted Megan with my boys and off they went to board and train school. After severally weeks we had training and I began to see a difference in my dogs. I was taught a few basic commands. After several more weeks my fur boys were returned, except they were not the same dogs. I'm amazed with the obedience they learned. With one command, they wait at an open door until they are set free to go outside. Another command they sit in place (on the cot in pic), again until set free. There is no more rough play, they walk next to me while walking even with distractions, such as dogs, and even peacocks. The investment was worth every penny. My Sincere appreciation goes out to Megan and the commitment and dedication she provides with her services.

Highly recommend, professional, communicative, engaged, caring, credentialed, and thorough. I have had my Greater Swiss Mountain Dog under their watchful eye and care for close to a year, what began as a 12 week boarded training program, has turned into a lifetime relationship as my dog will only board with them when I travel, as it serves dual purposes as a caring and healthy environment and a refresher for his training to keep his skills sharp. I cannot say enough positive things and has quickly proven to be the best investment I could have made in order to enjoy our dog to the fullest.

Megan is simply the best dog trainer around. We rescued our almost 2 year old Frenchie from a breeder who claimed she was potty trained. Turns out she wasn’t at all and had been living in a drop crate for her entire life. After a few months of trying to break Charleston’s bad potty habits, I reached out to the dog whisperer, AKA Megan, who was able to turn it all around and get our girl on a routine schedule. She is no longer having accidents and is completely crate trained. I don’t know how she did it but I’m sure glad we hired Megan to help us!!! I would recommend Megan to anyone who is need of a trainer!
