I came to Nikki while I was 6 months pregnant as a last ditch effort to keep my beautiful baby girl!! She had gone through all the early stage trainings and I worked with a different trainer one on one because she didn’t get along with our other dog but, he temperament didn’t want to change. Athena had a bite history with our other dog and unfortunately my god daughter. Knowing that we were about the have a newborn in the house and her being unpredictable I didn’t know what to do but, I had seen the work Nikki had done with my brothers dog and decided I needed to try. We sent Athena for a few weeks of board and train in hopes to get her to respond better to simple commands and calm down a little bit. She came back to us with a much better temperament. She is taking to her commands and although we are still a work in progress it is like night and day with her. Our family has been able to bring the baby around her without her jumping or showing signs of aggression. She responds to her collar however, she doesn’t always need it as she has been taking commands for the most part regardless. I love that when I am on vacation she is able to go back and hang out with Nikki and her commands are once again reinforced. Our family is truly grateful for Nikki for fitting us in before the baby came, always giving us a place to board Athena, and showing her love for her like we do. I would recommend her services 10 out of 10 times.

We have a three-year-old standard Bernedoodle who’s super excitable, so we wanted to work on his obedience, leash manners, off-leash skills, and impulse control. Nikki was amazing! She worked with him for two weeks and kept us in the loop the whole time, giving us tips and next steps for when he came home. He came home yesterday and we can already tell a huge difference! He can walk calmly without pulling and run off-leash with more freedom. We’re really excited to keep up the training he learned. Highly recommend Nikki!

When I got my first dog, a standard dachshund, all he did was bite. Day, night, outside, inside, in public, at home, he would not stop. I called Nikki to help me help him, and get him to just be a dog that I wanted to be around. She taught me the tricks and tips to make him a sweet, good boy. When I got my second dog, a mini dachshund, he turned out to be an angel. In addition to training, Nikki offers boarding. I have sent both of my dogs numerous times for overnight boarding trips and they’ve loved it every single time. I highly recommend ideal k9 training for any and all things dog related. Shes the best!

Went to Nikki to get help with a rescue female English bulldog who is believed to have been overbred and attacked. When she was brought home she would not respond to any commands and worse off she would attack the other two dogs for no reason. Nikki spent 4 weeks training her and the results were mind blowing. She will listen to commands and is starting to come around to the other dogs even. It has made it’s a tremendously more comfortable environment when at first it seemed hopeless. Throughout the process nikkii answered every question, always responded, and sent updates and even videos. She is the best. If anyone can help Nikki can. Believe in her.
